Useless headcanon of the day:

Productivity meetings at the Blackdragon HQ are always wild.

Kabal: Cannot be arsed. Has to be lured in with the promise of free coffee. Doesn't listen. Messages Erron under the desk. Is constantly tapping the table. His goal, piss Kano off, till he tells him to leave.

Erron: Could not give one single fuck. He has no fucks to give. Speaks really quickly, makes up words, makes his accent thicker. All in the hopes Kano tells him to piss off.

Tremor: At the mere mention he's not doing great. The Ninja Mime mug in his hand breaks. Kano tells him he's doing great. Tremor is employee of the month, every month, and has been since he started.

Kobra: Kano looks down at the Ipad "Is Toad bro here?" Let's face it. Everyone forgets he's there. Because nobody actually cares.

Kira: Doesn't turn up. She does not want to sit in a room with Kano. Calls in sick. Whilst sipping a cocktail poolside.

Kano: Gives himself a gold star, and congratulates himself for keeping the shit show together.

Everyone goes to celebrate, and gives Kano the wrong address.

It's probably a good job they stopped with the MK11 content. Because with every new DLC pack, my thirst for at least another character grew.

I always call my baba, well, baba. Because it means "father". Should have probably explained that!

I think my highlight of MK2021. Was people getting upset, that Reiko was portrayed as been stupid.

Like, I know the comics aren't canon anymore. But he literally trusted Havik, who's tequila personified.

Havik has like half his face missing, and swanned up to Reiko, like "You could be a blood god!" Havik basically did the Mortal Kombat equivalent of selling Reiko PPI.

If that isn't dumb, then I don't know what is.

I love this new format, but it's still so hard for me to choose! Marry all of them? Marry all of them. But if I had to choose.

What do you think of nrs suddenly stopping supporting mk11?

I have mixed feelings anon. On the one hand, I was hoping for a Kombat Pack 3. As a Havik and Smoke fan, I was hoping they'd at least appear. So I'm sad they've stopped supporting. Mainly because, it'll be a fair few years, before we get 12.

But I'm sort of glad. Just because some of the retcons have been so bad, that I was honestly fearing for any character that was going to be added.

I do think Kombat Pack 3 was planned. But COVID has kind of either delayed those plans, or they just couldn't do it.

NRS are at the mercy of Warner Bros most of the time.

But at least we got the movie. Which was so good!!

A huge reminder that on this blog, we live for and love Jacqui Briggs.

Also the fact we have never got any wedding content for Jacqui and Takeda, is a travesty. Sure, we got a few lines. But where was the wedding photos? Where is the photo of Jax crying, and Hanzo trying not to cry? Where is it Boon?

Because all I see is Shao Karen and Fake!Sindel content. We got Kabal marrying Sareena. But not Jacqui marrying Takeda. An actual, in game, canon couple.

If we don't get any content for them both in 12, I will kick off.

I was going to be doing a PhD. I didn't get in :( but that's okay! I was the youngest applicant and I didn't expect to get in fresh out of my postgraduate degree.

My Baba is currently making me some soup and bread to cheer me up. Because soup and bread fixes everything!
