To the world that pretends to feel nothing🕊️

I was never made to live in auto-pilot. In fact, I was made to feel the hum behind everything.

It is exhausting to live in a world that often rewards numbness when you were born for depth.

But I’m learning I’m not broken for feeling that way—I’m just incredibly alive.

Like the tired dreamer I am, I’ll continue to process, awaken, doubt, dream, and reflect.

When your shadow lashes out—

Knocking over towers,

Screaming in a voice you’ve tried to quiet,

It’s not to destroy you.

It’s begging to be heard.

You can shut it down with distractions,

scrolling, snacking, smoking,

dissociating enough to numb it out—

but it’ll come back.

Louder.

Stronger.

More desperate.

Not because it’s broken.

But because it loves you enough to try again.

So let it speak.

Let it rage.

Let it crumble the false calm.

Your shadow doesn’t need a punishment.

It needs a witness.

A gentle ear.

And a space to unravel safely.

We are not here to move through life perfectly.

We are here learning how to move through our shadows with compassion.
