Religious Reader x Yandere Chrollo (very small)

I started writing something about a religious/believer reader and Yandere Chrollo:

"You shouldn't critic my beliefs if only you know that I believe God has bound us together." You said, standing your ground the best of your ability.

"Is that so? You're feisty for someone set on believing in our 'relationship'." Chrollo sounds calm, like always. But who knows what he is really feeling on the inside...

"I dislike it, it's true. Although I cannot go against God's will. Therefore, if I am not rescued from your grip, it means you really are my other half." Chrollo keeps reading his book, not bothering sparing a glance at you.

"That's interesting. If I am to understand correctly, you believe in that theory we were once one and got dispatched?"

"Our soul, yes. To be fair, maybe it is why are you so empty..." This seems to finally catch his attention. He pauses his reading and looks at you. His grey pupils are so gentle yet so deceptively cold. What was going on on his mind?

"I am sorry..." You whisper before you can stop yourself. Really you should apologize to prevent a punishment happening but... this wasn't the real reason...

"Sorry," he repeats slowly, his eyes now focusing on an empty spot of the room, "For what?"

Well... Maybe it is simpler to say the truth. Chrollo will know if you lie after all...

"For... for abandoning you, leaving you alone for so long..." You stare at him and he returns your gaze. You find the courage to continue, "Soulmates are meant to be together, especially us I think. Well provided we are indeed soulmates. It's just... I mean, my vivid emotions balance your cold and empty state of being. It completes it. Just thinking about it... it must have been so hard on your own... as it was for me."

That's all I have written but I am quite proud. Might make a fit out of it!
