I have NO idea how that happened considering that pack has NOT been released and I was using a different url for it?! So it shouldn't have been available at all.

In any case, thanks for bringing it to my attention. The Poirot episode gifs are back where they belong. And the various period roles one will be released, eventually - I still need a role or two more to gif for it.

PS: I have the habit of storing my gifs in different locations so they're not lost.

Hello! That's very sweet of you thank you. I'm alright, and I hope you're having a good day.

Besides sharpening, you need to have good source material. By this I mean the videos you use - regardless of your method for giffing as some people prefer screencaps and others use clips, I use the former if you're curious - have to be of the highest quality possible. This translates as 1080p or higher whenever possible.

For the most recent gif pack I posted, it was a combination of 1080p and 4k videos I got from youtube.

If you want to go for films or tv shows, try to find web-dl versions - usually the ones from AMZN or D+ have the best quality when it's material from them, or from other streaming sites. Mkv files are bigger but also have the best quality. Blu-ray rips are also good options to use. If you want to save space, go for x265 over x264 codec as it both has better quality and eats less disk space.

Having said that, you can use material of lower quality for giffing. I've certainly have in the past, and the results vary.

And now, for the part you asked for I'm going to go straight to the point. As of late, I use a sharpening action by @rubyredwisp which you can find here at the bottom of this post
