Hey howdy hey, back to drawing and here to post my next design in my Magic Girl AU lineup! Today we have Soundwave my beloved! Magic Girl Lore under the cut :)

Soundwave was one of Dee’s first friends several years before the AU begins, and has a strong dislike of Orion once she enters the picture. Soundwave thinks that Orion is far too idealistic, and after Dee recovers the magical artifact, encourages her friend to take more forceful and immediate actions against the incoming Quintesson threat :)

She has a deep dislike of Starscream, and while she respects every decision the newly formed Megatron makes, she can’t help but feel like she’d make a better second in command…

Her design is deeply Miku inspired LMAOO which I had a ton of fun with!! Very specifically one of the racing mikus for sure ehehe

Hello HELLO my LOVES my BELOVEDS

I am finally here with my… (drumroll please) MAGIC GIRL AU!!!!! I have a few characters done atm, but here’s Megs as a way to start us off!

And here’s a sneak peak at my first drawing of Orion in this AU too 😌 yapping about the AU under the cut!!

SO. I literally adore magic girl everything, and growing up, the magic girl shows were definitely my favorites! They’ve fully inspired like every part of me and my art lmao, so I thought why not do something literally SO fun with space robots while also paying homage to the genre that shaped me :D! (Also Megs isn’t a flier only the normal fliers can fly I just wanted to draw wings in that last doodle, sue me)

As per traditional Magic Girl rules, they’re all in high school! Most of the bots are upperclassmen (Juniors and Seniors) while some of the younger bots, like Hot Rod, Arcee, and Bee, are underclassmen (freshman and sophomores). I don’t want to yap everyone’s ear off too much about worldbuilding and what not, but essentially, Quintessons are attacking Earth and oop, there needs to be a force that can fight them!

Luckily, some local idiots come across an alien artifact in the woods, and BAM! Magic girls that are fully capable of taking on some silly little aliens. Chaos ensues, classic high school drama ensues, and it’s a fun time all around :)

I’ll probably post Starscream next, but if there’s anyone that y’all particularly want to see next or know about, PLEASE feel free to ask!! I wanna show ya what ya want!! Okie thanks for reading byeeeee :D

HAHAH I finally finished my submission for @zorangezest DTIYS!! I sketched it ages ago and finally got around to coloring :) This was so fun!! Art rambles under the cut:

I absolutely ADORE the chaotic vibes of Zorange’s art, so I tried not to worry too much about perfection in this one! The bright colors and halftones were a bit of a departure from what I usually do, but I had such a good time :D I can’t wait to play around more with rendering styles in the future!!
