ok let me clarify smth before I get anymore comments about this (MINOR SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER THREE OF MY FIC UNDER THE CUT)

the raw potatoes that the camp fam ate at Winston’s Steakhouse were baby potatoes—NOT full sized potatoes. I realized I didn’t specify that and so I made a quick edit to that scene to clarify that these are baby potatoes that they’re eating. They only ate like two or three each because each potato is small enough to fit in your palm. They definitely didn’t eat enough to get solanine poisoning or anything like that. The amount that they ate was nowhere near lethal. They might get tummy aches but that’s it.

I never imagined waking up to endless screams,

Running barefoot through smoke and fire,

Searching for my mother among the rubble,

Only to find nothing but silence… a heavy silence telling me that no one will answer me anymore. 💔

i draw this because i'm angry. i'm so fucking angry. i'm angry at the iof, the us and uk government, and the met police who arrested over 500 people - including elderly people, and a blind disabled man - at a peaceful, nonviolent, non threatening protest. i'm angry that the uk government doesn't give a shit about Palestinians undergoing torture where words do not have the capacity to describe how horrifying these conditions are.

update on the Palestone protest in london - over 200 arrests were made.

all of these people arrested, just for supporting Palestine 4ct10n - a proscribed group in the uk, which means it's not allowed by law, and is on the same level as terrorist organisations

supporting PA can get you up to fourteen years in prison. keep in mind PA is an organisation those main goal is opposing britain sending weapons to israel. the reason british mps voted to proscribe this organisation is because they caused £7 million in damage by spray painting two aircraft vehicles with red paint. i cannot support Palestine action, not even in a tumblr post, because that could get me put in prison.

and what next? i can't wear my kufiyas? i can't say 'free Palestine'? i can't support Palestine or even talk about it? this pales in comparison to what the Palestinian people are going through of course, but this isn't just about Palestine, it's about the uk's descent into facism

please, i beg anyone who reads this, spread the word. speak out. please. just talk about this. if you're british, tell your mp to speak up about this. a reblog is enough. i'm sorry for sounding so desperate but i've never felt more terrified in my life.

So for this chapter, I’m switching it up a bit. I’m splitting into three different character perspectives to kind of broaden the scope of the story.

Let me clarify that while some chapters will be focused on individual characters (each character will have a few chapters that are purely theirs) but in order to be able to tell the story from all necessary angles, sometimes the perspective will change mid chapter. It all depends on what I want to explore and accomplish in that specific chapter.

Currently Reading: SMUT! *snort* I used to care a lot about what I read, trying to stick to 'good literature' and the classics and all, but I'm now at a stage of my life where I stoped giving a f*ck and now I read what the hell I feel like. Judgment be damned. So I'm going through the ACOTAR series, devouring them like a madwoman. I have Edgar Allan Poe's short stories giving me the stink eye from my nightstand, and I might use him as a palate cleanser after!

Last Song: Oh, I've been cranking the Imperfect soundtrack I created on Spotify to get me in the mood for the next chapter, and the last one that played was, curiously enough, Imperfect by Stone Sour. I can't get enough of Corey Taylor, that man is a God!

Last Film: I barely watch any TV. I read and write in my spare time, so the last movie I saw was in the movie theatre and I took my son, so we got to see the live action of Lilo & Stitch! I enjoyed it a lot! 🥰
