#there’s something off about this character that isn’t explained by canon but can be explained by a series of elaborate headcanons#NOT villains though. people who try to be good but aren’t very competent at being good but it’s not really clear why#people who try to good and fail but don’t have a good reason why#the kind of thing that requires years of therapy to unravel whereupon the character is entirely undone and their self-concept destroyed#it’s me I’m the therapist unraveling them

However butches and gender nonconforming women almost NEVER get shown as old in media, and our beautiful middle aged (and older!) butches never get to the public eye!

#good omens#tagging because the GO fandom needs to see this#I will defend to my last breath that YES they are deeply in a relationship but NO it doesn’t conform to human understanding#same with Angel and demon genders and lack thereof#they may identify with the human concepts of queerness bc they love earth#but we have seen how angels and demons don’t conform themselves to human labels#in terms of divine lifetimes all of humanity is a tiny blip#and all the modern queer labels and discourse are a blip of a blip#they have been as they are for FAR longer than they would have modern labels to describe#it is not canon fact that they identify with queer labels or not#that is the realm of headcanon NOT canon fact#I have strong opinions on this if you couldn’t tell#rant#ineffable husbands
