Late Night Chat
Saturday Night, Week 01 | Spring
Lucas is lazy by nature and while he is curious, he's not sure he's that curious because all this investigating is starting to sound a lot like work.
On his way back from the bar, he stops at the curio shop to discuss it with Edwin, who sells him a listening device instead.

Sharing Secrets
Saturday Afternoon, Week 01 | Spring
Edwin didn't sound surprised when Lucas asked to get lunch again or when Lucas admitted to taking a peek at the Lab. In fact, he handed over some interesting evidence he had found himself.
And when Lucas brought up the strange door he had found? Melanie knew exactly where to find a key.

Snooping
Saturday Morning, Week 01 | Spring
Okay, so maybe Lucas decided to go for a walk Sunday morning, and it led him to the abandoned lab in the middle of a crater. And maybe he went inside and just took a little look around.
And he might need a key card to get through the suspiciously large and very locked door.

When the drinks are free...
Week 01 | Spring
Night on the Town might just be one of Lucas' favorite holidays, thanks to the free drinks and food at the bar.
But now he's looking at his fellow card players differently after his lunch chat with Melanie and Edwin. Do they know something about the strange things he keeps seeing around town?
What are they hiding?
Lucas's favorite bar is Strangerville Bar by one of my favorite builders, @roxxysims

Lunch with a Friend
Week 01 | Spring
Lucas decides to grab lunch at the local diner with Edwin and Melanie, his friends from the curio shop door next door. They are surprisingly informative when he asks them about the strange things he's seen since moving here.

Late Night Gaming
Week 01 | Spring
Lucas keeps losing every gaming tournament he enters, so it’s time for some practice. Every time he gets up for a bio break, he swears he sees someone walking past his house, but their movements are unnatural. Lucas brushes it off as too many late nights playing zombie games.

Getting Better at Gambling
Week 01 | Spring
Who can say no to a little more simoleons? Lucas can't since he has a $300 utility bill waiting to be paid.

Since then, the trailer has been abandoned for quite some time, with the previous owner's possessions still inside

New Crush, New Pizza
Move In Day | Spring
After a long day of hard work, Lucas decided to enjoy his well-deserved, freshly ordered Kebab Pizza outside because it was nice out — totally not because the electricity hadn't been turned on yet.

Fridge-less
Move In Day | Spring
When Lucas bought the abandoned trailer, he expected some issues, like busted plumbing or a broken stove.
He hadn't expected the two men in suits to barge in and confiscate the fridge because of an "infection." His pizza was in there.

A Strangerville Welcome
Move In Day | Spring
Lucas wasn't expecting Strangerville's mayor, Ted Roswell, to show up on a moving day with two local residents, Lesley Holland and Lizette Whittington. Nor was he expecting the fruit cake. Or the weird glowing fruit they put in his fridge. Or that Lizette would be so pretty. He definitely didn't expect them to also plant the weird glowing fruit in the barren garden boxes left by the previous owner.
And when he asked Lizette for her number? She just said ŦĦ€ ΜØŦĦ€Ř ĆΔŁŁŞ ΔŇĐ Ɨ ΜỮŞŦ ΔŇŞŴ€Ř and then left. Strangerville: 1 Lucas's Dating Life: 0

Lucas Ashcroft | Strangerville
Generation 01 Young Adult | he/him | Slob, Lazy, Gloomy
Lucas Ashcroft grew up living a cushy, privileged suburban life thanks to his parents, Erik & Gemma Ashcroft. His ambitious, perfectionist parents never quite understood their son's lack of direction, which made their relationship with their son all the more tense. It all came to a head when Lucas told them he didn't want to attend college. Called lazy and ungrateful, Lucas was cut off from his parent's financial support and everything that came with it.
Lucas left Oasis Springs and found himself in the neighboring desert town of Strangerville. With what little money he had left, he bought a rusted-out trailer across the street from the local bar, deciding his time was best spent with a drink in his hand.
That is until he notices the local residents are acting strangely, including the woman who showed up at his house to give him a Strangerville welcome on his first day. Thanks to his new crush, his curiosity gets the best of him, and he's determined to find out what is happening in this quaint little desert town.
Generation Goals
Move into the trailer park in Strangerville as a young adult and only move out to an actual house after completing the Strangerville mystery
Complete the Strangerville mystery aspiration
Max out the fitness skill
Max out the video gaming skill
Don't date/find love/marry or have kids before you complete the Strangerville mystery and move out of the trailer home
Join and complete the military career
Optional Goals

New Legacy Pack Challenge!
I have been playing the Sims for decades, and not once have I ever played out an entire sim lifetime. Most of my saves are abandoned once my sim reaches their Adult years. And if they have children, I get so hyperfocused that I get overwhelmed and don't go much farther than aging them up to a young adult.
Not to mention, I have every pack - when you play on a console, it's the only way to get new content - but I've never dug into all the gameplay that comes with each one.
So, to keep myself consistent and perhaps one day get that sweet, sweet Alphabet Legacy trophy, I'm doing Rosannatxt's Pack Legacy Challenge. She has a fantastic notion dashboard setup that I am using to keep track of everything.
Because I am a console player, I can't use mods, and cheats are out the window since I still want to earn PlayStation trophies. I am reordering the packs and adapting the rules a bit so they are better suited for the console.
On that note, I'm starting with Strangerville and solving the mystery of the giant crater sitting on the outskirts of town with my legacy founder, Lucas Ashcroft. I'll introduce him and his story in the next post.
Dag dag!
