I feel like Poseidon doesn't get talked about a lot on here, so boom. Here we go. Poseidon loving hours.
Even though I am low-key terrified of the ocean because I can't swim, there is still so much beauty within it, from vibrant coral reefs to schools of silvery fish reflecting light like mirrors to the relaxing sound of the waves gently splashing against the shore. The ocean is a very beautiful place.
Poseidon reflects his own domain. The ocean can be scary and unpredictable, for sure, and I feel that is what most people are used to when mentioning Poseidon the Earth-shaker, but on top of being a turbulent place, it is also a peaceful place. It is a place that brings tranquility and joy. It is a place that brings thought and self-reflection. It is a place that brings discovery and intrigue.
Poseidon, too, brings these things with him wherever he goes. He can teach you to go with the flow of the unpredictable waters, he can show you how to relax and have fun, he can encourage you to search within your own depths, he can reveal to you another perspective that you hadn't thought of before.
I think that maybe, especially if you're landlocked, it's easy to forget the relevancy Poseidon can and does have within our lives, but when you start to look a little closer at him, there is so much he can reveal to you. 🩵🌊🔱

I believe in freedom of belief and religion and practicing it in a way that suits you, your style, and your needs, but people need to understand not everyone has the same beliefs or has the same structure as you.
If you're a person that takes the myth of your religion seriously in your craft then that's perfectly fine, but other people do not. If person worships Zeus or Poseidon don't give them the stink eye for "worshipping a bad deity". Those deities are more than just their myths, it can even be argued that the myths have no basis at all when it comes to worship. (moral context)
It is understandable that certain individuals will be uncomfortable or downright disgusted by these myths and it will affect how they see the deity, but remember that no one has the same beliefs. Do not hunt someone down for their differences in beliefs.

Intro post because these are a thing.
I have been a practicing witch & pagan since 2020.
I currently work with five deities, all of which are my patrons. I have one spirit guide.
My posts will mainly consist of a sort of digital diary to track my journey as I am not as consistent as I would like and this is my way of holding myself accountable lol.
Feel free to send me any asks !! I can't guarantee I can answer your questions if you have any but I'll do my best and I'm always down to chat if you just wanna say hi :]
Different post types will have their own tags that I will add to this post as I post more often.
Miscellaneous posts will be tagged: #ghost rambles
Okay thank you for reading, goodbye !
