So….I was recolouring the niches for my Simblreen gifty (that reco not shown lol)…and decided I might as well do some other reco’s I might use in future - and ended up with 16 others as well! Yes!…. there ARE four white variations but it’s all about texture for me.

The meshes are included, custom thumbs as always because completeness AND matching walls in three heights.

Tingelingelater did the fabulous original conversions of Buggyboozs’ niches and you can find them HERE.

Sulsul! A New Recolor Set For The Sims 4! ‘To Niche or not to niche, that is the question.’ Okay, I know that seems random, but I have a whole stream of consciousness/insomniac explanation. You see, todays’ post is a recolor of Tingelingelater’s conversion of Buggybooz’s niche set. This caused me to say ‘niche’ repeatedly. Somehow, that turned into ‘Nietzsche’, which logically led to philosophical ruminations, hence the bastardized Shakespeare. Sorry Bill, but I’m going on two (3?) days of no sleep bc my daughter is out of town hiking to the top of MT. WhatEverTheHellItsNameIs, leaving me alone with a psycho puppy and a schizokitty. All the while sending me videos of her idiotic death-defying feats. Anywhosers, back to the topic of Niches. I love ‘em, gotta have ‘em, use ‘em all the time. This particular set is iconic and I could not resist. Download, piccies and details under the cut.

Dining Tables Plus - CC Addon for Base Game

It always bugged me a little how dining tables in The Sims 4 usually came in incomplete sets, so it wasn’t always possible to use a specific table design since there wasn’t one available in the size you need for the room you are building. This addon aims to solve this issue by finishing off most existing dining table sets in Base Game, as well as adding a completely new table size, a larger 4-seater variant, for added versatility.

This set contains 27 tables of various sizes.

The issue of ‘incomplete sets’ are obviously not exclusive to dining tables, so I eventually hope to ‘complete’ sets of different things such as coffee tables, sofas, beds, etc. I also plan on expanding sets outside of Base Game as well, so feel free to suggest which packs I should focus on first!

As this is an addon which use assets from Base Game. Which means that this set is completely Base Game Compatible!

Install

To install, place the .package files into your Mods folder found, by default, in My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Alternatively, you can place the individual .package files from the separated ZIP into it’s own folder within the Mods folder to keep things tidy.

Georgian Stair Carpet

Strangerville Windows/Doors for Short Walls

Phew. Done. I had to make some adjustments here and there so sims’ heads wouldn’t clip through the door frame, so we should be good to go.

I went ahead and created “centered” versions of each; personally I can’t ever NOT have a door/window centered on a wall.

I also went fancy-pants and made custom thumbnails. This was the most requested, let me know if I missed anything! Enjoy!

Around the Sims 4 | Wicker-o-wisp add-ons

Because I love those wicker objects from Islands Living, I wanted MORE! So, I’ve added bed frames, with the double bed frame matching with the single bed frame, loveseat, living chair, a smaller coffee table that can be used as end table. And last, I used the ceiling-fan as Seasons thermostat to cool a room (not animated though).

Someone anonymously asked for a recolor of EA's yoga pants, and I've kind of been needing some easier projects, so I was more than happy to give it a shot and somehow, it turned into a little set that is technically mostly recolors, but I did do a little frankenmeshing for the top!

Do you guys remember when Grimcookies (now @akalukery) did that collab and made a bunch of super-useful and versatile tops and bottoms? I tried to take a page out of their book and did my best to match their palette of bright colors and neutrals, and I also added some swatches from the Lovechild palette shared by @twikkii.
