(pretend i'm makin us tea as you read this hehe) sooo i've always been a little bit of a theater kid; worked tech in high school, have an old abandoned tumblr blog with lots of heathers fanart on it, the whole shebang and it's always been something my friends (affectionately) tease me about. but!! tonight i took them out to see hadestown with me and let me tell you. SO satisfying to stumble out of that theater and hear my friend say "holy fuck i get it now" through tears!! snejsnsn it was sooo fun i'm so happy they let me drag them out <3

#slumber party

this spring semester, i've developed an interest in someone in my college course because of how they speak in class lol. it was my first time ever admiring someone for their intellect, though ofc i was first interested in their style. they also seem to be very socially skilled, charismatic, confident, and friendly - it was wonderful seeing how they communicate with the course instructor, because i kind of always struggled to get along with people in a natural sense. i probably won't see them again since we're in different majors and the school has a wide range of courses. i don't think it was really a crush or anything beyond admiration but it was inspiring and fun. overall, i'm so glad to have the opportunity to be in a college that's excessively good for me, more than what i could ever ask for or even imagine <3

at least i THOUGHT because like two weeks ago like, twice in a row i send a message like "i love you goodnight" and the responses are "sleep well" and BYE. the capitalisation mine.

and i didn't say like. hey i don't know what to do with that reaction, would you like me to stop saying that, because i just woke up when i saw it and frankly. didn't have the energy

but then this week they warn me they might drunk text me and then a couple hours later i get a message "i love you so much" which. i like this drunk texting thing please do it more. but ALSO. i'm confused about the combination of events. i maybe should just talk about it with thrm. feeling needy so scary

sleepover! hi cass!

today i'm very proud of myself because i finalized my undergraduate honors thesis. YIPPEE!!!!! I'm turning it in for submission as soon as i have departmental approval!

as for crushes, i can tell you a little bit about my partner. he is the cutest person in the world. this week he was able to launch the video game that he and his capstone team worked on. It's called "Ivorfall" (free on steam, shameless plug) and it's actually really slay, I got to play it on Wednesday and I'm just so so so so so so proud of him!

i was the first girl to get shrunk so small that they blew a bubble around me and i wasnt even big enough to break the tension in the soap and i floated away into the sky until it popped 100 meters up and i fell for what felt like years due to my low terminal velocity and when i hit the ground i wasnt even hurt and i joined an ant colony. since then ofcourse there have been many others.

im really really in love with a man whos incredibly wonderful but incredibly difficult to even be friends with

but

when we are Good Together, my whole body relaxes in his presence and energy which is incredibly rare for me, to the point it feels mystical.

I can't trust his actions in his alcoholism, I never really know what version I'm talking to til I do, but, I trust his heart. He looks at me with reverence and more love than most.

I hope the world lets us experience each other in healthy and nourishing ways for a good long time.

I'm being cautious with my heart and feelings and upholding boundaries. But in reality everybodys a little fucked up. If he chose me I'd choose him and all his difficulty in a heartbeat.

Okay Sleepover crush(?) Story time...I'm doing your hair rn btw

So basically last week a friend of mine had a bday gathering which was super fun. It was only a handful of people, some i knew before, some i didn't, but i got on well with all of them. I ended up walking there with another friend/acquaince, let's call him C, and we sat next to each other too.

Anyways, today i saw the friend who held the gathering and i was talking with her and she thanked me for coming bc it was lovely time, but she also told me apparently others at the gathering thought that C and I seemed quite close, perhaps in a way that's more than friendly. I kinda got a bit flustered about it because i do think C is quite cute, but I'm not entirely sure if I'd persue him or not?? A called him a friend/acquaintance before bc even though i enjoy his company, and i know he enjoys mine, we don't talk or meet often enough for me to know *that* much about him, so i hesitate to call him a friend, let alone someone I'd consider maybe dating. Plus I have no clue if he sees me as anything beyond a friendly face, y'know?

All in all I'm not really sure what to do, or if i SHOULD even do anything. I'll have to think about it more, but i just wanted to blurt it out somewhere. Thanks for listening <3

hi!!!! so i'm not very comfortable with dogs but i briefly met an very sweet little spaniel today (he was still puppy-ish) his name is luke he was sitting underneath an bench while the owner was gardening at a library in another town and he even licked my hand!! i forgot how soft puppy tongues are i'm so used to kitties =^.^= overall i had really nice afternoon w my mom running errands the sun was out it was pleasant weather i am so excited for days if more sunshine soon!!! *sits on the front porch like flowers in pots*🌈🪽🫧
