My latest spin on my new Ashford kiwi 3. I've used kiwis quite a bit in my life spinning, but having my own is so lovely. I've been living my best life this week farm sitting for a friend during lambing. This is my wooly life ❤️

Get yourself a fabric store that will light your fabric on fire for you
No but legit I asked what the fiber content of something was and the guy didn’t know so he cut a chunk off and lit it on fire and felt the ashes and was like. Yeah this is mostly cotton with a lil bit of silk. And that was the moment I knew. This is it. This is the fabric store for me. Also that guy is marriage material. Not for me but damn some person is gonna be so happy with him.

Sometimes my crafty brain whips up things that aren't knit/crochet. Completely improvised, but I think they'll be functional.

Another Christmas stocking done. I started a commission for three of these stockings for someone in 2019. And as they have added more babies and spouses to the family I have made more.

Working on the post virus shawl by bagoday while my daughter rides. I spun the yarn, and it's been waiting on the shelf to be used. Finally pulled it down for this. I have a love hate for this pattern so far. It's pretty, but fiddly.

Three colored skein of yarn. Not 100% sure on fiber content, but I know it has Merino and Shetland. Spun while at the Great Frederick Fair.

Picked this up from the Green Goat ranch, at Maryland sheep and wool festival. Can't wait to spin it up.

Nobody talks about how hobbies like crochet and knitting have suspense, anxiety, and gambling involved and it’s all thanks to a self inflicted game called yarn chicken

Beautiful yarn I purchased during my trip to Seattle. We went to the pikes place market and found a local dyer. I needed some yarn to bring home with me, I'm thinking this will become a hat. But we shall see what it grows up to be.
