Did a £175 comm of a scene from chase the echoes from the rafters by sanvitheartificer. Love Georgewood as a ship, and this piece was honestly so fun to do! I actually used a Bts video of the kitchen used in the tv series, and I tried to make everything accurate as I could. I even drew the little Nazar eyes hanging on the utensil rack.

Taking a break from my bigger piece to draw good ol’ Detective Barnes and the Portland Row lot. Literally had the scene where he half says “I never said I didn’t like you” for days asjkdd.

Also, I know both pieces almost look the same, but goddamn I had to draw Lockwood closing his eyes as he embraced the hug lol.

PLUSSSSSSSS GEORGE’S HAIR. HIS HAIR. LOOK AT HIS HAIR. i hate hate hate shading hair but goddamn that went well. Tbh all of them went well. I also did a little dabbing thing with an enlarged paint brush for Barnes’ hair, and I know it’s not noticeable really, but I like the effect.

I guess coming from a Batfam fan perspective, I’m just constantly rooting out mentor figures in the media I enjoy. It’s a problem, yes, but not one I’m willing to rectify.

The day I post my Lockwood and co shit to the right fucking blog is the day I feel peace. Hasn’t happened yet.

I am never going to write this but a Hunger Games AU for Lockwood and Co would be so interesting. Like Lockwood and Lucy end up being the tributes from the same district, Lucy by sheer bad lock and Lockwood because he actively schemed to have his name put in as many times as possible by taking food off the capitol to redistribute to the district. And Lucy has to deal with the fact that her fellow tribute doesn't seem to care that he is about to play in a death game so long as he gets to make a statement while she is terrified and just wishes she got to live a quiet life.

Little in progress poly Portland Row piece im making.

I really want to go with a warm orange colour scheme to contrast the spooky green of the outside dangerous places. Like this is where they’re safe, and where they can be their most comfortable. Lockwood is braiding Lucy’s hair and in a loose jumper, Lucy is just chilling with a tea in her lap, head laid on George’s arm as he stares (lovingly) at the two.

We always see Lockwood in a white shirt at home, at his most relaxed he might be in a loose white tee-shirt, so it’d be sweet to see him in baggy jumpers. Now I think of it, I want to go back and make his jumper a warmer, lighter colour too, because the darkish grey just seems too reminiscent of his dark front he seems to put up. Though maybe I like it, I mean he still does all his sweet things like buttering Lucy’s toast even when at his darkest. Eh, I’ll play about
