Reason: theyre just people with unremarkable clothing and features. Skyrocketed to meme fame for almost no reason. And also are named using an interjection and Common english Name. (Damn, Daniel; Splat, Tim)

Both have secondary phrases to describe their actions: "Back at it again", "Does It!"

Both are male humonoid species with genetic traits that do not mark either person as part of any minority, (White Male Human, uniform Inkling male hairstyle)

Both are presumed young adults/Teenagers at the time of documentation

Both memes were created as a byproduct of gathering youths, (Damn daniel is a meeting of 2 boys, exchanging informal banter. Splat Tim depicts Tim himself wearing a Dog themed Splatfest tee, which is exclusive to the Dog Vs. Cat Splatfest.)

Both memes are significantly old compared to others currently in circulation
