i wouldn't say what the series is all about, i do believe there are other elements to it, not to mention some especially heinous acts, comments, etc.

but i do believe that amongst our main charecters/group, this was the message. it comes in the form of not only jacob, but emma, miss peregrine, hugh, and the others, despite how some of them may seem.

this is what i believe that miss peregrine and her wards represent; love. in all of its shapes and forms.

she relatively stayed the same as the last time i did her, except she got a couple more details, textures, and more stylized hair that i like a lot more than my first one lol

i don't have custom makeup or else i would have made her face different 💔 but for what i have i like it 🩹

second off, i might also be biased because i absolutely adore fiona, but i 100% agree with you!! it's terrible how fast everyone but hugh seemed to forget. there was no grieving, no remorse, nothing. and how quickly they told hugh to move on after, like you said, it had been centuries spent with her?! just awful.

i agree that yes, she is liked, i believe everyone has good ties with her. but at the same time, do they really like her if they were willing to move on so fast? it's tough to say.

also to be completely honest, she is one of the three i already had in mind. the three that i have in mind are my three favorite charecters though, so that's why i wanted public opinion lol so i wouldn't be biased 😅

i love seeing how people interpret lesser known and especially lesser drawn charecters </3 so really any of those types? the ones that come to mind atm are Paul, Alene, who was his friend/family member in Portal, Ellery, who was the girl Fiona was forced to kidnap, and Rafael, who was the sole bone mender left during the battle of Devil's Acre.

It's okay, I just told them to go to the asks and suggest because I have a bad habit of forgetting to reply to comments 😅

YES. i heavily agree too. i feel like my brain blocked this part of the series out entirely because i genuinely did not think about it during my rant and it so deserves to be mentioned.

i feel like to a degree, her manipulation and general actions are undermined significantly. after the gang is saved by miss p, she is never brought up again, and i feel like she should have been. her peculiarity is so powerful and op that if she had been any older i full heartedly believe that things would have went way, WAY worse for Jacob and everyone else. the only way they managed to get out of her hypnosis was because she lost her temper. if she had more control over her emotions, it's a wrap for them. not only does gets away with everything she does, the charecters that were captured by her go about as if nothing had ever happened with her. it's somewhat infuriating.

i also was completely devastated how undermined Enoch's situation was, but this is coming from a person who's favorite charecter was Enoch for a good 3+ years so take this with a grain of salt. he was taken by her away from the rest of the group, and he had to escape on his own and traverse through and unknown location for who knows how long. he is literally the reason that Miss Peregrine comes to their rescue, and he barely gets not only any recognition, but remorse for what could have and did happen to him. who knows what Frankie did or told him to do before she went off to sell the gang, based on her creepy interactions with him earlier.

not to mention, he was only brought up once between the time that they are all in the same room under Frankie's control and the amount of time after they have been saved. i can reason with why he wouldn't be thought of during them potentially being auctioned, interviewed, etc. it is tough to think about someone in a dire situation somewhere else when you yourself are in a dire situation along with the other people there with you. but for Jacob or even one of the others to not question where Enoch is after they are saved is messed up. they only think or care enough to remember Enoch when they find out he is the one that called Miss Peregrine from Millard.

so yeah. Frankie is terrible, such a dastardly foe in the series, that is totally undermined and is forgotten about just like that. Enoch and his side of the situation were basically thrown away, and i cried for him.

100% agree with your post about Frankie! I feel like no one really talks about her or the scenes she was in, but she was easily one of the worst people the kids ever faced. Everything she said/did to Enoch was so uncomfortable to read… how did his clothes get changed? What was she planning on doing to him while he was “part of her collection”? Not to mention she beat Bronwyn with a baton and tried to do the same to Jacob while auctioning them off in what was essentially a human trafficking ring! She was honestly such a terrifying character, I’m surprised she was never mentioned again after AMOD.

Yes! Absolutely yes. Frankie is by far the most bizarre character of all, there is something that makes her this bizarre thing. She doesn't look like something we associate with evil, we're used to white-eyed, adult villains, Frankie breaks the mold, she's a peculiar kid, she's something you look at and expect kindness from, No one looks at a child and expects them to be a psychopath. What's scary about Frankie is that she's an evil child, a disturbed and bizarre being who enslaves and sells people. Her power is one of the worst in the hands of the wrong people, she takes away people's free will, she turns people into puppets and this power is very scary, nothing is as horrible as being a prisoner of your own body, having someone else controlling your movements against your will. This is Frankie, evil in child form.

About Enoch, she probably told him to change his clothes and since she controlled his body, he obeyed and put on the clothes. To Frankie, that's what he was, a doll, a new toy, that she would play with until she got sick of it. She's about nine years old, she would probably play with him and punish him and he would end up like the other "dolls" we see in the restaurant.

Another thing that bothers us about Frankie is the lack of closure. She disappears from the story, and we're left with that terrible question: will this little demon go unpunished? Is no one going to do anything about her crimes? Is she free to enslave and sell more people?

Her fate is open, we don't know what happened to her, and it's disturbing to know that she's probably free to do more terrible things, What if those children who were in the same situation as Enoch didn't run away? In fact, they can't run away, they have nowhere to go, Enoch was the only one in that place with the option to run away, after all, he doesn't age in the present.

Frankie is definitely one of the worst characters ever introduced, she is a wolf in sheep's clothing, something that seems harmless and safe and is actually as bad as any clan leader.

I hope the ymbrynes council does something about Frankie, since the clans don't do shit about it.

just a rant about some things ive always thought were weird in the mphfpc series ft. emma being sexually harrased by adults, enoch commenting sexually on adults, and horace's implied relationship with an adult.
