How did you come up with this great proyect??? :)

Well, because I love Super Paper Mario I suppose 😂

I’ve been into fanart for about 10 years now (I first started with Luigi’s Mansion art!). I had the idea to do a comic adaptation of SPM a lot earlier, but I didn’t feel like my skills were remotely up to the task until about 2021. I started sketching the first pages that fall.

Prior to that I’d also written lots of Mario fanfic, but I ultimately wanted my SPM adaption to be bigger, so it turned into a comic instead.

Another small ‘news’ update…

I finally got my AO3 account approved! I’m not writing much fanfic currently aside from the manga, but I will be uploading my old works there in the coming days, including my long comedy series Castle Bleck Craziness (which I highly recommend to the SPM crowd if you want a laugh), as well as my full novelizations of Luigi’s Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine!

Someone suggested I try drawing them, so here you go! (His father’s design is based off a vague silhouette we see in Super Mario Kun.) Obviously his mother was totally left to my interpretation. I drew them how they would appear in the manga!
