To celebrate SPOD's latest album release 'Taste The Sadness’, SPOD will be performing a 'Dinner & Show' at Sydney's The Lansdowne Hotel. With special guest Justin Heazlewood we invite you to come and enjoy this intimate and mature evening in celebration of getting older and wiser. It's FREE, you just have to click the attending button at the facebook link above and we will put you on the exclusive guest list so you can come and enjoy the SPOD menu while you enjoy the SPOD performance. SPOD has reinterpreted his debut classic 'Taste The Radness' to reflect life 10 years on, we give you 'Taste The Sadness'. This beautiful record reminiscent of Harry Nilsson and all things adult and sad is sure to tug on them depression strings. And then you laugh in the face of it all because getting old is scary. Taste The Sadness, explores hitting the second half of your existence in full-stride, dislocated your hip in the process and then spending the rest of your days in an extremely comfortable armchair explaining to everyone about how much significantly more enjoyable everything was when you were able to enjoy things more. The painful truth is that all pleasant evenings of nightclub-dwelling debauchery must come to an eventual end, in both the literal and metaphorical sense.

What happens to a modern party legend when time rolls on and his heart changes into adulthood, confronted by the realities of human life? Last Dance is the first song off Spods remake of his 2003 hit Taste The Radness as Taste The Sadness, an album confronting the unspoken truth that every person must face. Taste The Sadness will be released via Rice Is Nice Records in August, more SPOD news to come.... https://www.facebook.com/spodmusic http://www.spod.com.au https://twitter.com/SPODemonic
