This is the rudest thing ever. Like just because asexuality doesnt fall right into what you've labeled "gay" or "queer" doesnt mean it's straight. Like I've seen other posts about this. And while sometimes it's people cracking jokes it NEEDS TO STOP. Its causing this disconnect in a community that already has enough fucking exclusion usually.

So stop cracking jokes about asexuals basically being straight because as was apparently seen during whatever this mess was - people are truly going with it.

Sorry for taking off in a rant on this. I havent even been on tumblr in ages. Aphobia is one of my biggest annoyances.

Y'all remember when someone suggested Yuri Katsuki might be asexual/demisexual but biromantic?

And she got called names, was told to shut up, and that she was appropriating gay culture when no one knows Yuri Katsuki’s actual orientation, while Victor is bisexual, at the very least?

That’s aphobia and I still clench my buttcheeks in repulsion every time I think of that interaction.

I aint gonna articulate this right but I’ve noticed there’s this weird sub culture on tumblr where it’s frowned upon to say anything positive about your life. Like occasionally I see someone post something like “I love my job so much” and a few responses are like “wish I could find a job :/” or “must be nice to not have depression” and it’s really strange. A lot of people are pulling themselves out of dark places or finally figuring out how to be happy (no easy feat) and they don’t need you projecting your own demons on their moments of happiness they wanted to share.

If we’re being honest the most unrealistic thing about MHA is that…you mean to tell me…none of these kids dick around with their quirks??? Legit some of these kids have the most wild and borderline outlandish powers and you fr expect me to believe they all handle them in a responsible manner?? He doesn’t do that thing where you use your legs and back to support yourself between two walls except it’s between two buildings?? He doesn’t try to stand on top of light posts like the weeb headass he is? He doesn’t do Extreme Parkour?? He doesn’t try to support things with his legs that he really doesn’t need to (balancing desks, the chair of the kid in front of (with said kid in chair), boxes, etc.)?? He doesn’t Naruto run to class (with iida)??? He doesn’t take every dare that’s given to him because he’s That Bitch??
