This reminds me of a @CrowderMusic song that says, "If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking," and this verse from 1 Timothy 1:14, "and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus." I was sitting in a plane getting ready for take off. My heart was racing and my mind was not in a good place. My friend was reading the Bible on his phone and suggested I try it. Since we couldn't use data I just picked up where I left off from Sunday's sermon. I read until I got to these verses. When I read, "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus," I instantly calmed down. He will guard my heart (in that moment my safety) and my mind... that's exactly what I needed to hear! I was on a trip looking for miracles and the first one happened before the plane even took off. Every plane ride on that trip during take off and landing I had this screenshot and I read it over and over and God's peace filled me!
