Inuyasha fans might’ve heard there’s currently that pop-up store in Shanghai, and since I have a relative there I asked if they could take a few pictures. Little did we know it was taking place in a mall known for anime/game merch and cosplayers, like an enclosed Harajuku, and my relative is most definitely not familiar with that scene, sooooo this was quite an adventure for them.

They dropped by a day before opening and saw the adorable Inuyasha statue in front of the store. It was waaaaay more crowded the next day.

There were pop-up stores for Detective Conan, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, etc. They were preparing the opening of the Bleach store around the same time.

The queue for the Inuyasha store formed quickly on opening day, and they controlled the number of people that could enter and the number of the same products they could purchase. The place was still packed, and they were blasting some of the openings and endings from the anime. You can hear Ayumi Hamasaki’s Dearest in the background of this clip.

Oh, can’t forget the giant adorable Inuyasha winking at everyone in the center of the store!

Death and destruction are easy as hell. Do you know how fucking easy it is to kill someone? To blow up a building? Shure security is in the way but if it wasn't there it would be easy as hell.

You'd do the basics shure. But would you do the hard thing and save the world because I asked you to?

Would you push aside your hatred of everyone but me because I asked you to nicely?

Also I saw the drawing of Lux eating with Fifteen, Ruby and the fish aliens and it reminded me of an idea/headcanon I have for him: What if he could eat food and feel hunger/cravings alongside the "feeding on light" thing?

Curious to hear your thoughts so please feel free to do whatever you want with this idea.

Danke sehr! I think since Lux is a god he doesn’t really get hungry (belly aching, need food!) hungry and would just filter-feed from the light around him XD

But… I do think the longer he stays in the 3D world the more his taste starts to expand!

No I do not think about Susie being the best kid ever and caring about her friends even if they're not present at the moment, and the familial bonds she's making and how much they clearly mean to her often. Nope.

I know it’s been talked about before but I still don’t think it’s been emphasized how *fucked* today’s internet experience is for children. I didn’t know what the word “discourse” was when I was 8, or 10, or even 13. I was too busy playing the nigh-limitless amount of flash games out there on the internet and making sure my neopets were fed. Like I cannot stress enough that if I had free time on the computer, 9 times out of 10 I could go and play a jaunty little game someone had whipped up and put out there for no other reason than that creating games was awesome and easy to do. Or go to some page that existed just to collect memes; you see back then there were more than 4 sites, and you didn’t need accounts to visit them. I didn’t get targeted ads. I wasn’t exposed to any sort of political ideology. I spent a lot of time on the computer but no one site monopolized my time or tried to fucking manipulate me into using it more. The internet was for more than one thing back then, and honestly I don’t think enough people realize how much has been stolen from us.
