Yesterday I...

-was approached about supporting the prohibition party by a guy with a really unconvincing sales pitch. He did catch a baby lanternfly and show it to me mid-spiel, which was cool.

-saw a combination circus/food truck

-paid real money for a poet to type a very mediocre poem about a very exciting subject (fat raccoons)

-learned from a blacksmith that you can sell an anvil for up to $100,000

-listened to a gospel choir sing a song with the lyrics "nobody do me like Jesus."

-had a family style Italian meal while explaining the inexplicable plot of the new Garfield movie (no one believed me)

-talked about Kid Rock and the shark attacks that inspired Jaws with a cool Uber driver
