A/N.

Hi everyone! This is my first x reader fic. I honestly hope I won't disappoint! Also Ik it says fem reader but feel free to change pronouns to your liking. I don't own Magica Madoka or any of the graphics associated with it. Please do not repost without permission/srs. This is also my first work for PMMM!!

Synopsis::

You (try) to Invite Madoka to attend an embroidery class with you. Wholesome and very slice of life-esque. Mami's head is still intact at this time XD

"But Madoka...I'm sure you'll love this course" Y/N whined as she continued to chop up thinly sliced pieces of potato's as they listened to nightcore in Mami's Kitchen. It's been 2 days since Y/N wanted to drag Madoka with them to some embroidery class and so far, they experienced no luck.

"I-I'm not sure" Admitted Madoka with a sigh. Y/N was now adding seasoning to the potato; perplexed as to why her friend wouldn't want to join.

"I mean, what if there's many people, what if I screw up?" Madoka added with a hint of nervousness. Y/N chuckled to herself. They known her since they were like babies and she always knew that she had a knack for handicrafts; particularly crocheting and knitting. How on earth would she screw up?

However, upon realizing how nervous her friend was, Y/N's features softened as her face contorted into worry. She knew how stressed her friend was thanks to the antics of that stupid cat-thing and she really didn't want to add fuel to the fire by dragging Madoka around with her. But again, They wanted to have Madoka relax by doing something she'll like so there's that.

"I mean, we can arrange a private class...just the two of us-and Sayaka, and Mami if it makes you feel more comfortable" Y/N suggested. Upon hearing this, Madoka perked up as she leaned closer to Y/N, her pink hair almost touching one of the bowls which they prepared for her.

"Eh? Really. If that's the case, then I guess I can give it a try" Madoka answered softly as she began to smile again.

Upon hearing Madoka's response, Y/N beamed as she hastily added ketchup to the already seasoned chips. Then, she decided to split the chips into 3 bowls; Madoka, Mami and for them. Sayaka came down with an unfortunate fever and was confined to her house for a week or two. Y/N thought her concern rising as they made a mental note to themselves to boil some soup for her.

By the time Y/N was done, Madoka was sitting there; expecting her food. The television was already on and it was 5:00pm. Mami would probably return in a matter of minutes so it wouldn't hurt to start eating.

An Aroma of baked potato chips wafted through the air making Y/N hungrier. But she decided to compose themselves and confirm if Madoka really wanted to join.

"...So, do you want to join or not? We can always do something else if you prefer" Y/N suggested.

"U-uh sure!" Responded Madoka with a grin as she giggled softly. Y/n also giggled; her eyes filled with happiness as she saw her friend content.

"Hmm what are you waiting for? The chips won't be hot forever so let's dig in!" Y/n chirped playfully as they softly poked Madoka; causing her to huff at Y/N.

Her charisma also landed her many opportunities (and an unwanted horde of simps)

However, if one get's closer to Genevieve, she'll expose her real self; the vulnerable side that she tried to shove away, the weaker aspects of her. Do you ever just think about how awful it is to be a demigod before you know about it?

I've been thinking about it a lot lately. How much demigod kids and teenagers don't fit in with mortal society. Their mortal parents don't know what to do with them, even if they do care for them immensely. They are labeled as troublemakers, as bad kids, as mentally ill, as freaks and monsters who see things they shouldn't see and have an aversion to authority that they shouldn't have and a strong sense of justice and an inability to sit still, read, play, act, feel normally. Percy got in trouble for getting into fights, for speaking impulsively, he was mocked and spoken down to and expelled from lots of schools who couldn't handle him and he didn't know why until he was twelve years old. Sally wasn't able to tell him why.

Annabeth was the product of her father's relationship with a goddess, and he loved her for a while, but she wasn't a normal kid. When he fell in love with a mortal and Annabeth didn't get along with her or her kids, he chose the mortal side. How could he understand Annabeth's side? She was just a badly behaved kid, while his new wife and children were the normal good ones.

Jason always knew he was a demigod, he was accepted and praised and tons of expectations were placed on him from a frighteningly young age. Part of the reason the others resent him and see him as a sort of golden child is because he was placed on a pedestal and he will never, ever know what it was like for all of his friends to be looked down on as children, to be scolded for things they didn't understand and told that the things they saw and experienced constantly were not real.

Piper was always loved by her father but I think he loved the idea of her, he loved that she reminded him of the beautiful woman he met years ago. He was always kind to her and usually gave her things she wanted, but he couldn't always spend time with her as his job got busier. Piper sensed that her father's attention was occupied by something else, and as he got busier, she felt less supported and stole things and got in fights and her dad didn't know what to do with her after the BMW so she was sent to a troubled teen program where she was bullied for her disabilities and her race.

Leo feared his power because it killed the person he loved the most, and after that, everything in his life was hell. He didn't feel safe anywhere, he didn't have anyone he could trust, and adults saw him as a troublemaker who would never amount to anything.

The books don't emphasize these things as much with any of the other demigods, or maybe Annabeth, Percy, Piper, and Leo are the best examples we have. I just. They're so tragic. They're all my children all of them. I love them and I feel so sad for them
