On a trip to Peru documenting a medical mission, we stayed in the remote city of Moyobamba. A city that is so different and interesting that lives on the outskirts of the Amazon rain forest.

We sometimes make narrative short films as part of the 48 Hour Film Project, a filmmaking competition that pits over 30 teams against each other with the task of making a film in just 48 hours. This includes all script writing, shooting and editing within the two days.

Well, our team, “Cinema Geeks”, ended up winning in Denver in 2023 and then The Movement went on to compete against 150 other teams from around the world who won in their cities.

We ended up taking third place and securing a screening of the film at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival!

Our friends at Hostel Fish run an amazing upscale hostel in downtown Denver. Our goal in partnering with them on a new video for the hostel was to not only show their potential customers the joys of hostel life but also show potential investors their concept as they plan to expand across the country.

Two days with our friends at CU Now in Boulder left us inspired.

The program brings in world renowned composers to workshop their new operas with student performers and the staff of CU Opera.
