Now that the store is open, link is in my bio, I've decided to start back with my #Topstone #Halloween #Mask series. My next #woodcut of the series will be #LagoonMonster. Here I've #sketched the design then gone over it with a black Sharpie. I use the grid method to get the design from the original ads. A light green water wash was added to help when I start cutting. So I'm photographing prints in the office with the @netflix documentary #Abstract playing in the background. I turn around to discover my 9 yr old daughter has been watching the first episode regarding @abstractsunday artist Christoph Niemann! My brother @mark.baugher was great enough to save me some pieces of a tree he disposed of from our Mom's front yard, two branch sections and two trunk pieces. I took one of the branch pieces and did some experiments in #naturalprint #printmaking today. Also experimented with some spare ink for a #rainbow #print of the wood. All in all I liked them. It will never cease to amaze me the books that can be found in used bookstores!!! I've wanted a copy of "The Complete Relief Print" for years, and now I finally have one!!!

#Red #BoxingGloves has finally had the first #handpulled #test. This is the result. Thoughts? I hesitated to even post it. My. black #ink separated in storage again, and I did not clean the #linocut as well as it needed before #inking. A few small adjustments will be made, but as this is a #reductionprint, there isn't a lot I can do. I start the print run in earnest tomorrow. If all goes well , these will be up for sale on my site within a week. I will post to Instagram prior to going live on my site to allow for possible hold requests. I'll sign off now.
