This March, between the 13th and the 17th, we will be hosting a week long themed extravaganza featuring our two favorite old farts and their wild misadventures. Each day will host a new theme ranging from angsty to wacky; anything goes!

Unfortunately we’re not that sort of blog.  We’d advise you to take a gander at some of the various authors who have contributed and poke around at their blogs.

Thanks to all participants.   It has been a great joy to see the Stanchez tag flooded with so much fantastic fic and art.  

This has been a learning experience for all of us, and we’ve definitely made a note of what worked and what didn’t work from our end.  Please expect an exit survey in the coming weeks, as we would like your feedback.  

I’d also like to announce that this is not the end for the Stanchez-Bang.  We intend to run another small event from December to February, and we will be reprising the Micro-Bang next summer.

i only JUST found this out, and i know it's way too late to sign up as an author and such, but i was wondering if i could tag something i write/draw for this with the stanchez microbang due to that having Inspired it, even if it's not part of the actual event? also are you going to keep reblogging stanchez after the event is over, or is there a different tumblr who does?

Feel free to credit us as inspiration!  We actually typically don’t reblog Stanchez.  We try and keep our posts strictly related to the activities we run, so the vast majority of our posts are original.   Several of the authors and artists who have participated do reblog Stanchez, however, so if you click around you’ll find them.  

We will be running other Stanchez related events after the bang ends from this account, though. 

We also run the @stanchez-slack blog, which sometimes reblogs things that were drawn/written by members of the stanchez.slack community, but we’re pretty lazy about maintaining it.
