We’re all together now, he thought, and the idea was so strong, so right, that for a moment he thought he might have spoken it aloud. But of course there was no need to speak it aloud; he could see it in Richie’s eyes, in Ben’s, in Eddie’s, in Beverly’s, in Stan’s.

sending you headcanons. okay but like, highkey, all the losers letting bev using them as models for clothing because they have such different body types and she really likes the differences they bring to her clothes?????

oh my god YES and she thinks it helps her like, grow as a designer to know that not everything can be a one-size-fits-all. mike is tall and broad, richie is tall and gangly and skinny, eddie is small af with a bit of chub ‘round the middle, ben is short and heavy with broad shoulders and thick legs, stan is more feminine with a smaller waist (read this as trans!stan or just stan with a snatched waist both are valid), and bill is just Bony™️ so it really helps her understand how different styles look on different people!!

she has them put on mini-fashion shows for her!! mike, stan, & ben get rlly blushy and embarrassed at the attention and pretend to hate when bev whistles and cheers as they shuffle across her living room. richie thrives from the attention and over-exaggerates a strut and pouty lips but if any of them give him a genuine compliment about how he looks he goes all red and tries to play it off. eddie and bill are the weird in-between where they don’t mind the attention but it flusters them so they try to play it off like richie but they also cant stop giggling ??? and bev takes pictures and videos of them on snapchat and cheers for them and she’ll let them keep a lot of the clothes!!!

I didn’t know there were different species of quail?! I thought all males had the silly (cute) forehead feather. If you want to tell us all about quail, I would love to hear, but I also possess the Googles. Anyway, your birds make me smile. Thank you for posting about them.

oh there's like a million species lol I don't know much about any of them, just names and I can recognize a lot of them. I raised Bobwhite quail (my favorites) for wild local release since they're native to michigan.

I'm raising Celadon quail now, which are coturnix with the celadon (Ce) gene, which strips their eggs of the splotchy bloom coating, leaving them blue.

Here's what the wild type looks like:

There's a species of coturnix called a rain quail:

The ones with the little head doot you're PROBABLY thinking of are valley quail (California quail, I think they're also called?).

And the really similar Gambel's quail:

blue scaled quail which have a crest, not a doot

Montezuma quail which honestly may be a very big hoax I mean look at these fuckers:

there's a bunch more too, but. yeah quail come in all sorts of Shapes and colors. they're neat little birds. I think the bobwhites, valley, gambel's, scaled, mountain, and uhhhh montezuma quails? are native to the US, but not all of them are in every state.

why vote stan

... 2) same as eddie, his death was absolutely tragic and he deserved so much better. he had a wonderful wife and friends who loved him, and yet he died alone with not even the memory of these friends, nothing but fear. 3) a vote for stan is a vote against the way they massacred his character in the 2017/19 adaptations. vote for stan if you hated those films compared to the novel/miniseries 4) actually vote for stan regardless of your opinion on those films because he’s a great option 5) he’s a funny little bastard 6) ships?? idk i personally think he’s good w patty (his canon wife) but i know he’s in other popular ships (eg stozier/stenbrough/whatever) so you’re making lots of people v happy 7) i’m not exactly sure how this propaganda works in case it wasn’t clear but honestly i love him so so so much and you will bring blessings upon our fandom if you vote stan ... 9) OH AND ALSO he got spiderfied!! it wasn’t him per se, but in the 2019 film, it (ie the villain, aka pennywise) impersonated him and became a spider head which i think is really cool!! google it if you’re ok with a lil gore bc i think it’s the coolest cgi/design from the whole film - @the-losers-are-still-losing
