I’ve read a few MD time travel fics, but it’s usually just Uzi who ends up in the past — and almost always with memory loss. So if, in this Envuzi fic, N, V, and Uzi all go back, then OOOH BOY — the possibilities, the interactions, the butterfly effect... I can’t wait for it.

Is Devoured branching off from canon Episode 8 — specifically the part where Cyn was about to eat N’s core but was stopped by Khan?

And I am beyond excited for J-demption. Her realizing she was wrong. That she was jealous, prideful, insecure — and lashed out instead of being honest about her fears. What she needed was a stern talk. A reminder that N and V are the only family she has left. That this isn’t what Tessa would’ve wanted. That she’s treating N the same way James and Louisa treated Tessa — perpetuating the same cycle of abuse. I can already feel the JANGST: that aching loneliness, the quiet desperation, the desire to connect with others but being held back by pride — or worse, the belief that she doesn’t deserve it. I’m a hard sucker for a J who owns up to her mistakes, tries to fix things, and finally reconnects with the people she pushed away. I will eat this up.

Now, let me gush about hope is the thing with (bladed) feathers for a second—

It’s easily one of my favorite Murder Drones fics. The way you handle the emotional depth, character dynamics, and sheer hopelessness of N and Tessa’s situation is just... phenomenal. Their bond as sword and shield is heartbreaking but beautiful. Every chapter feels like it peels back another layer — each one heavier than the last.

V and J are handled incredibly well too, both caught in these impossible emotional dilemmas. It’s so tragic and tense, but there’s this quiet little thread of hope that maybe, just maybe, things can be mended.

The story doesn’t just touch on love (in all its beautiful, tragic, selfish, and messy forms), but also dives into loyalty, heartbreak, and emotional survival — all with stunning depth. Every chapter peels back another layer, and each one hits harder than the last.

And hearing that Ch. 13 is already ~6.5k words? Yeah, I’m buckled in. Let’s go.

In Little Brother, Cyn's still the Solver host. The swap is that she's N's big sister, and he's her little brother this time around. I won't spoil the ways that dynamic changes things, hehe :3

There's not much I can say about the time travel fic without spoiling the Big Thing in the story, lol, but I do want to say that it's not multiple chapters of them running around interacting with pre-canon characters. Just to set expectations.

Yes, devoured is where the Solver isn't interrupted and instead successfully eats N's core. It might need a second chapter from Uzi or V's POV, honestly, because that's where the real angst'll be at.

You've nailed some of the J feels from the J-demption story, lol. J does a lot of thinking in this one.

Aww, thank you!! 💙 I'm so glad you're enjoying hope so much! "Loyalty, heartbreak, and emotional survival" could probably be the subtitle of the next chapter, lol. And yeah, this one's turning out to have yet another monster of a word count! There's a lot that happens in it, tho, for all that the pace is pretty slow for N and Tessa.

A sea of faces look out at me from the biggest dinner table imaginable, forks and knives clutched in their fists. I beg the oven to cook faster. XD

A funny thing about me is that when I write for a fandom, I lose all interest in reading fics for that fandom. Don't know why that happens, lol. In the case of MD, I started writing before I'd read more than a one-shot or two, so I didn't even have a chance to get attached to some fics.

I think I'll post chapter 2 of Bring Him Home tomorrow, because I NEED to share that one with y'all. After that, who knows!

I'm super happy to hear that!! No overworking here, promise! I actually really like having a variety of fics to work on at once, keeps me from getting bored of a story.

I'm somewhat trying to alternate the chapter updates for change and hope, those being my two biggest WIPs. So once I've got hope's next chapter finished, I'll set that aside a bit to focus on change! Which means that the progress is "I have the idea for the chapter but have not started writing it" lol.

I started reading your fics around 2022 because of your FNAF stuff, and your FNAF fics are some of my all time favorites! first of all thank you for writing all of those because they're all amazing and populate the Gregory and Vanessa fic pool 💜 but second of all I wanted to say that I'm not even into any of the other fandoms youre in like the things you've written about on ao3, but I read Bring Him Home and I'm invested!! I know next to nothing about murder drones but ur writing in it was amazing and I loved the progression and pacing and everything. can't wait to see more of it!!

does anyone have any good suggestions for snarky but fond nicknames V could use for N? I have her calling Uzi "Bite-Sized" in a lot of my fics, which I like a lot, and that's the kind of vibe I'm going for. like, a little bit flirty but there's still plausible deniability. my only option right now is "hotshot," which I do like, but I'm not 100% sold on it

Bring Him Home might have become one of my new favorites. Uzi is a walking fortress at first, but N managed to break her walls in a really good way, and she helped him with his emotional scars in return. They are just too precious, such awkwardness turned into cuteness. I got a little frustrated when the chapter ended, then relieved to see there will be more. Something tells me there will be much more angst, and I have my suspicions, but I think only the next chapter will provide the answers. I'm actually kinda surprised about Khan's behavior. Big hugs.

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!! Pre-canon Uzi isn't a character I've written much of, but she and N were so cute!

Haha, there will be more, promise! The chapters for this story are going to be shorter than my other current WIPs, which will hopefully mean shorter gaps between chapters. I can't wait to share the next one, hehe >:)

I think Maddie would keep her distance. He's not a Titan she's particularly eager to meet again, and there's no point in tempting fate. Besides, her dad and probably some other adults who care for her would be majorly against it, and staying away is one of those things she wouldn't have trouble doing if they'd asked it of her.

Chapter 1

Looking back, Uzi would be able to pinpoint the exact moment that the weird, tentative friendship she’d somehow fallen into with N turned into a crush. Four words. Her downfall came on the back of four damn words. “I like your railgun,” N said with that tiny smile of his. (or, N is a Copper-9 drone who arrives at Outpost 3 after his outpost is destroyed by murder drones, and Uzi makes a new friend)

did you hear about/watch secret of the mimic? if so how did you like it? :)

I have watched it! Or, kinda, lol. I had it on in the background while I worked on a puzzle. I didn’t find it particularly scary—Ruin still has the best creepy atmosphere to me (in the SW era of fnaf games). 

As a game, it was fine. My favorite part was when you refuse to give Dispatch the Data Diver and the voice gets so cold and flat. The music was pretty good too!

I’m not a huge fan of the Mimic, is the thing. It's just not an interesting character to me. Similarly, I wasn’t particularly attached to Edwin or Fiona or their son, so like, it was sad and I was appropriately horrified by their fates, but I didn’t feel much for them otherwise. Kinda frustrated with the apparent retcon(?) of who actually created the animatronics. As if the lore wasn’t complicated enough.

Gotta love when they portray Rodan as a traitorous Titan who attacked humans just bc, when in reality not only humans woke him up, not only attacked him first, which led him to destroy the city at the foot of his volcano as collateral damage, but also used him as a weapon against Ghidorah, which ultimately led him to be defeated and under Ghidorah's rule/control.

They did him so dirty smh
