But it was sooo worth it, bc I didn't get spoiled on a single thing (still cried for two hours when I beat it though.) Anyway! Listen, I know everyone has pointed this out already and that it's old news at this point but I simply cannot get over the fact that these are the same people. The fact that one of them thinks he's in control of the situation while he's actually being played by someone who had it all figured out before he was even born. The fact that one of the reasons for why the old man is doing all of this is because he lost almost all of his friends a lifetime ago, not knowing that one of them is standing right in front of him. And that that old friend has to pretend like he has no idea. I just can't get over the fucking layers of tragedy at play between these two. It's going to haunt me forever
