Hans Bolling, creator of STRIT (pictured), is a modern architect with a big heart and big ideas. His most recognizable design trademark is the irresistible quality of playfulness and fun light heartedness that is apparent in all of his works. As adults, it is sometimes hard not to take ourselves so seriously. With our busy grown up lives there is often little time for reflection, self-irony and play. Strit is here to change that. His role is to remind ourselves that we need to take life with a pinch of salt, take a step back and re-examine our position from a different point of view. With his mobile body, you can arrange him into any position desirable, allowing him to express anything form surprise to concern and everything in between.

London based Paul Cocksedge Studio created the internationally acclaimed SHADE lamp for Flos lighting in Italy. Created for Flos by London-based designer Paul Cocksedge, the modern-lamp Shade provided a refreshing highlight to the traditional lamp shade concept.  The magic of the Flos Lamp Shade is the successful result of an attempt to avoid conventional solutions for using mains power and lamp frames from the ceiling, eliminating the intrusion of visible wires, cables and switches. Instead, the power derives from an LED floor fitting housed in a small black aluminium box. This spot light element shines light upwards into the Japanese paper lamp shade, which in turn is invisibly suspended from the ceiling by capillary-thin nylon wires. Easily installed in a matter of minutes, Flos Shade can be used as a centerpiece in a room or as an off-centre focus to light up darker corners, shadow-filled corridors and intimate homes.

LUSH GREEN GRASS flower vases by Claydies for Normann Copenhagen from STARDUST.com // Grass is inspired by the roadside. In our opinion, a roadside with wild flowers is a good depiction of wild Danish nature. Grass has a very naive ceramic expression that is both uplifting and amusing. If you take Grass and place a simple dandelion, thistle or some other wildflower in it, it looks really good.
