A kinder mother would sure seek her sons, even if it was her who abandoned them.
(Just a Thought of Marika in ragged clothes and covered in veil, unfortunately didn’t hide her grace, descending down to the shunning ground she made to cage her rage and grief from the time long past, just to see her sons who she refused to hold and look at their births. SADLY THAT’S NOT WHAT HAPPENED AHUGHGAHHHHH)

"Let it be known, that by my will and by the true words of this document, I appoint this person to be the bearer of the Warrant of Trade, and bestow upon them and their dynasty the great Mission... ...to be the paragon of Humanity, Unbroken by adversity, To Walk bravely First into darkness, To unite and reclaim what was lost... ...to truimph over nightmares untold, To hold boldly the reigns of fate, To walk steadily the road of thorns, Through pain to greatness."

I am fine with not being able to romance Argenta.
However, as someone who loves unnecessary drama and conflict, I would kill to experience the revelation in Act 3 while romancing Argenta.
Also, Argenta going through a crisis because she is slowly falling for the Rogue Trader of the problematic dynasty would be delicious.

The Rogue Trader and Theodora Von Valancius
After finishing the game, I can't help but think about the Rogue Trader's feelings toward Theodora von Valancius and her legacy.
One of the reasons why I find stories with dynasties and lineages interesting is the idea of legacies and living up to the expectations of being the scion of an illustrious family.
The MC had an entire life and career before being brought to Von Valancius voidship. It is possible that they were only vaguely aware of their lineage or even never realized they had noble blood. In a short period of time, they went from being introduced to Theodora as a secondary heir to being her successor because they were the only survivor.
It’s easy to be dismissive of Theodora's personal impact on the RT after her death. Yes, she chose the RT as her heir, but the RT only knew her for a couple of hours at most and spent the entire game dealing with the mess she left behind.
However, it’s fascinating how much the RT thinks about her long after her death.
Though the game doesn’t address it directly, I can easily imagine my RT feeling like they’re living in Theodora’s shadow and questioning whether they’re a worthy heir. After all, Theodora was the Rogue Trader for a long time. Many of her subjects never knew any other leader. Both Abelard and Idira clearly miss Theodora and frequently compare the RT to her.
In Idira's first quest, Echo of the Past, the warp entity taunts the RT, claiming they’re unworthy and that their claim to the Warrant is false. Of course, the demon is just trying to get under their skin, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the RT feels a bit unworthy deep down—especially given the troubles they face on Dargonus, with some nobles still doubting their claim and undermining them in favor of Kunrad Voigtvir.
In Act 3, the RT's hallucinations revolve around both Kunrad, the only remaining heir of the dynasty, and Theodora. I don’t remember exactly what Theodora’s phantom said, but she was dismissive of the RT.
In Act 5, we meet her phantom again, just before making one of the most important decisions in the game.
A minor note, but the RT immediately recognized Theodora’s journal in Epitaph from her scent and handwriting. Not only did we inherit her Warrant, but her quarters and possessions also became ours. Throughout the game, the RT is surrounded by Theodora’s mementos, and it’s possible she left behind numerous notes and journals for her successor to read.
I’m not sure if the next DLC will focus on the Von Valancius dynasty and protectorate, but I would love to learn more about Theodora and her predecessors.

Quote
I do not want your admiration now, because I do not want your insults in the future. I bear with my loneliness now, in order to avoid greater loneliness in the years ahead. You see, loneliness is the price we have to pay for being born in this modern age, so full of freedom, independence, and our own egotistical selves.
