I started getting into the Danganronpa series this year, because a friend of mine is into it. I got them into Shuake, while they got me into Komahina in exchange 😂 That's why I've been putting the two games together.

Story-wise and Genre-wise, the two games aren't really similar, BUT the Shuake and Komahina ship dynamics very well are. Goro passing the "Komaeda Archetype" checklist further adds on to the similarity lol

I think this post link here is a good starter on expressing how similar Shuake and Komahina are

I'm probably considering making a more elaborate Shuake & Komahina comparison post of my own once I consumed enough info from the Danganronpa series 🥺

Welp I can't really deny that. Proof of Justice pretty much focuses more on Shuake going on dates and Ren missing his bf, while the World Vanquisher OVA is more of an epilogue of SDR2 with Komahina playing prominent roles in it 🙂↕️

In Japan, the school year cut-off date is around the beginning of April, because April is when new school years start. So any student that is born in April are usually the oldest in the class.

Nagito and Mahiru both have birthdays in April, with Mahiru's birthday being on April 24th, and Nagito's being on April 28th. This means that Mahiru is the oldest in Class 77-B, with Nagito being the 2nd oldest.

This also means that Nagito is about 8-9 months older than Hajime. This is just a food for thought for my current Komahina obsession lol
