I keep getting attached to different characters and when I do I have to change my profile picture to them and when I change my profile picture I have to change everything else to make it all match

Wait. Wait hear me out. What if...... Makoto WASN'T the main character. What if he WAS just some guy.

What would his FTEs look like? Would he be a victim? Still a survivor? ..A killer?

(For me personally, I think his FTEs would just be. a FOUNTAIN of those stupid injuries stories. Like.... "I slipped on a grape in the supermarket once and broke my foot." "I broke my thumb trying to give someone a hug" "I fell off a roof when I was nine" or something LMAO)

Oh boy, Makoto's FTE's would be fascinating. Protag talks to him, and Makoto keeps kinda turning it around on them, trying to talk about them instead. When asked directly about himself, his answer is very basic and normal. "What are you doing in the clinic?" "Oh, just hanging out. What brings you here?"

But then if you probe deeper it turns out he's tending to an injury he sustained when a lamp fell on him or something, lol.

His very last FTE is the protagonist successfully getting him to talk about himself and his life at length. He veers pretty quickly into talking about Komaru, and protagonist is like, "Wait, you were doing well for a second, but now you're talking about someone else again!"

And he's like, "What? She's my sister. It counts."

Protag internally is like, "Well, at least it's progress."

I still kinda think he'd survive. If he doesn't, he's been fridged for someone else's character development (probably Kyoko or Byakuya) and a lot of emphasis is placed on how resilient he was.
