YES I am ALSO like...90-95% convinced that we're going to be getting a story card for Silver once we wrap around back to diasomnia. 👀 especially because the way things are going, Silver will be the only character whose dream we haven't seen -- yet???? -- and that just. y'know. makes me wonder!

although I do think it would be VERY funny if he got a story card and the groovy was just "regular Silver except with one beautiful single crystal tear". this is actually a lot coming from him.

(he used up all his emotion yelling at a baby that one time, there's none left for a proper groovy-level cry.)

is the method you use to create stained glass texture the same as the one for paper/graininess texture?

yep! it's a combination of a couple of different stone/marble textures, set to 'overlay' mode, which are doing most of the heavy lifting texture-wise! though I also like to go back in after the texture's been applied and add some extra shading and grungy scribbles, just wherever I think it could use a little more work (which, bonus, I think also helps keep it from looking too much like the texture's just been slapped on). :D like, since I suck at words, here it is with the texture layers turned off:

I wanted to try doing something with a super limited palette! it was supposed to be, like, a triptych kinda thing with Mal in the center, but tumblr made the arrangement look terrible, so here you go. :U
