How old do you have to be to voice-act ;-;

There’s no set age, as long as you can do the character you want to do. If your 20 or 30 something but you can do a pre-teen voice go you! Same if you a teen or pre-teen wanting to do the ancestors! if you can do the voice there is no age limit!

Hey guys! Just a little re-iteration in-case any of you are wondering! This is still running, we’re still accepting animators, script writers, storyboarders, background artists and voice actors!

Anime Update!

So even though Hussie beat us to it we’re still going to make the anime!

We’re still looking for help! Even if you can’t do it full time! Maybe you ask for a story board part to animate or submit an episode script! Maybe you supply the prospitians and dersites voices in backgrounds or Story board part of the script! Maybe you pitch an idea for an episode! As long as we receive a means to we’ll credit you!

You can ask for things by:

A) Shooting us an ask (preferably off anon)

B) Messaged SOA on Skype

C) Emailing us

Any help is a great help! And this way Homestuck doesn’t have to die, newbies to the fandom can still experience updates to an extent. And we’d be able to get episodes out faster!

So I’ll try to keep the tumblr Updated on what part of production we are. Weither that be in the side bar or created a text post.

So let’s make this happen

If i can't commit to working on this project full time but would like to help, would it be ok for me to just submit the occasional short sequence or background based on the story boards?

you could totally do that (we’d want someway to credit you still). Short time jobs will be things like background characters (we intend to have an ancestor arc) voices and designs! The occasional original fan music! Backgrounds (Seer of Anime: I like to make more steven universe looking ones but the backgrounds can look like anything as long as they look nice). Even short animated bits (They have to somewhat resemble the style we use). If you want to help with any of these Shoot us an e-mail. Or shoot me(Soa) a message on skype! We could also use help in the script department.

We’ll try to make posts on what we’re currently working on and you can follow and tune in to see if that’s what your interested in.

would you guys be apposed to receiving auditions for parts that are already taken? like for example if i wanted to audition for feferi or something (not saying i will shes just an example) would there be any chance of getting that role? some people are voicing multiple characters so like i guess i was just wondering if it would be ok since that could lighten their load

The chances of you getting the  part are unlikely. but maybe in your audition well think ‘Well the voice would fit X better’And maybe You’ll get a part anyways. I (Seer of Anime) am not on the board that decides who gets what voice acting parts. But you wont know until you try!

Hello, I've seen the video on Youtube and I might be interested in on helping out and create this anime. I am looking to find a description for each character as well as the lines you guys want us to audition with.

hey thanks for showing interest in our project! unfortunately writing out descriptions of each character is impossible as we’re all a little busy, but if you would like i’ll provide some links where you can find descriptions and tips on playing characters (+ a random quote generator). the open roles page is under the more button and once you pinpoint which character you’d enjoy playing most get back to us off anon! thanks again!

Hello Lovely Homestucks

HOMESTUCK THE ANIME

Remember when this was a thing? Yeah me too! still is. I just have had life stuff to work with.

Current we’re doing a role call for all our staff: Which you either need to use tumblr, e-mail or skype.

Staff: Please let me know wither or not your still apart of the project and what you did so i know what we need. this must be done by Jan 30st. no exceptions

Followers: We might be going through some changes in art style or how the blog is run

WE’ll have someone running the blog to take Questions and applications.

Currently we’re pushing for more Writters and Storyboarders: you need to have a skype and e-mail with Google+  features for this (we need it for google docs). You will also get a trial perisod to see if your right for the project

We’ll make posts of what we need.

A possability for our studios is making a patron: however liek the youtube channel (yes we have a youtube) it’s focus would be hoemstuck realted until the project finished, then it would either end or the group would use it to become an actoual studio group where everyone could make a livng off it.

I might make a side project episode later or soemtihng to that nature but don’t count on it

Special: Looking for a kickass intro suggust a heomstuck song (maybe with lyrics) or submit a song you’d made for homestuck!
