Everyone Leaves Alive is a musical audio drama about a touring rock band that secretly solves monster-related problems, created by Jessica Best, the writer and executive producer of The Strange Case of Starship Iris and a staff writer on Unwell and World Gone Wrong, with instrumentation and music production by Chiron Star. 

Thanks to the generosity of our Kickstarter backers, we currently have the funds to make the pilot episode.

We are currently looking for a director, a music director, a producer, and a sound designer. Job listings are here.

We are also currently casting for all roles in the pilot, both singing and non-singing. Audition info is here.

I virtually adopted Tamasha the tuberculosis sniffing rat and I'm never talking about anything else again. Her favorite food is peanuts and she loves jumping and climbing and she's so very good at sniffing out tuberculosis. I love her.

Help a poor undergraduate student!

Podcasts have been an important part of my academic life, if you can believe it.

I was introduced to the amazing world of audio drama at the same time as I started university and they have been with me diligently ever since. I listen to podcasts while studying, while grading my papers, while crashing during my finals and on the way to my internship. Now, I am finishing up writing my final paper and I have the option of making a quote of my own choice and obviously, I want it to be from a podcast I like, but I realized that I like a lot of podcasts. I have selected a few favorites, but I am still undecided, so I will be holding a vote on tumblr because why not. Choose your favorites from my favorites! (I am also open to suggestions! Summary:

Welcome to Night Vale: If you're reading this, there's no way you haven't already heard of Night Vale, and you probably already have your own opinions on it.

Sidequesting: You know that bit in any Zelda game where you have to like gather 30 turnips for the mayor's husband or some shit, and the quest ends in the most wholesome way imaginable?

Hamuel Burger and the American Dream: 6 episodes of well-crafted trans jokes, audio design gags, and other silly goose behavior, chased with a serious goose sucker punch.

Also, one more thing before I shut up about this: This country is not declining towards fascism. We are not under threat of becoming fascist. What happened in Los Angeles this weekend WAS fascism, full-stop. Not a threat, not a sign of decline, not a warning shot. This was hundreds of human rights violations in the name of "national interests", followed by the militaristic beat-down of those who spoke out against it, and a leadership that is bold-faced lying about what happened. That is fascism. We are living under fascism.
