"Dick should be the next Batman", "Cass should be the next Batman", "Damian should be the next–" "Tim–"
What if they're all Batman? What if no one actually wants to be Batman, so they just form a circle every night before patrol and throw the cowl at each other like a game of hot potato. Last to catch it is it. Or hurl it up in the air and see in whose head it lands on?
What then?

i know for some people the art in batgirl 2000 can be a turn off for them reading it but i genuinely think you guys are all sleeping on how absolutely amazing damion scott is at paneling. like holy shit. his art style is already so dynamic but his panels do so much for the pacing and action of the story i could talk about it for hours

You think Cass is autistic because the only thing you know about her is that "she doesn't speak", I think Cass is autistic because she has a very intense sense of justice, is incredibly fixated on crime fighting, learned how to sound normal from imitating tv characters, other characters infantilize her when she's very clearly an adult that just struggles with some things, and yes, because when she's upset she stops talking.
We are not the same, but we could be... May I present you with a little comic called "Batgirl 2000"?

My favorite thing about Cinderella’s Castle is how unapologetic it is about revenge as a theme. We’ve all seen story after story about the pitfalls of revenge where characters are chastised for their anger and punished by the narrative. I love how, when asked what she truly wants Ella isn’t allowed to shy away from her feelings, no matter how ugly they might be. There’s something powerful about an eldritch god seeing someone who is actively being hurt and saying “you deserve the chance to fight for yourself and for those who have been taken from you”
