I'm really proud of this one! I experimented with the shapes and structures I've learned up until this point and today and made this. How cool is that? I love it!! : D It looks so good!

I worked on hollow boxes today! They turned out p good! Today, I got the shading right, too! So that's fun. <3

I'm also working on the color wheel + values wheel. Today I worked on the color blue, as instructed via the book. The white + blue color wheel turned out p well, but the blue + black one did not as much. They all kind of look the same to me, but I'll ask Moxie about it later.

Just a quick update to demonstrate what I'm learning, and how I'm progressing! I spent roughly 3 hours today working on cubes! I'm also learning a bit about color theory, which is a lot of fun!! : D

I can't wait to see how I continue to get better. <3

I'VE BEEN LEARNING!!! Firstly, I did some hand practice. The top one came very easily and naturally, whereas the bottom one I struggled. Sometimes it's just like that, though.

In the second picture... I'm learning about shapes and values via a book I'm reading. You learn how to draw in 30 days, and I'm on Day 2! So these are the two tennis balls I did for practice! I'm also reading a book on Color Theory, and while the first chapter didn't explore that yet, it did talk about a bunch of fascinating ways that we perceive color and how it fucks with our mind! Neat!

Do you like my new logo? I think I do! It's cute, and it took me longer than I'd care to admit to finish it. Moxie helped inspire it, and I love that! Thank you so much for all your help, babe! Every day I'm learning more and more about art. I can't wait to see where I'll be in a year!

I DREW THIS ENTIRELY WITHOUT REFERENCE!!!!!! I'm so pleased and proud of myself! it's only been, like, a week... and, already, i did it! \O/ Kudos to me!

I really need to name this chick. I love her, and I think I'm going to make her into on of my OCs. If/When I do, I'll go back and rename her on here so she gets her own tag!

This turned out okay. I've been focusing on learning shapes yesterday and today. Both basic 3D shapes and lines. It didn't turn out as badly as Taro did, but that's to be expected considering I drew from a full-frontal POV.

I GOT A NEW PENCIL!! It's so fucking pretty. Expect me to use it a lot more often because I can't help it. It's just too lovely. Pink and purple and chef's kiss!

This did not turn out at all like I wanted. It's p shitty, in fact, but I still like the idea of my bastard man hanging out in the trash just like the garbage man he is. : P One day, I'll redraw this and it will be better.

My avatar/online persona Luna turned out p decently. I think you never really are able to create exactly what you want -- or, at least, I'm not able to. I'm going to use her as my icon, and update this art blog to reflect her. I'm excited to see what else I can do in the future yet to come.

Thanks again to my partner, Moxie, for being willing to help me learn how to navigate Clip Studio. It was a big help! I am learning as rapidly as I can! I'm going to write some of it down, as well, just in case I forget.

This didn't turn out as well as I'd been hoping it would. It doesn't look terrible, but it still didn't turn out the way I'd anticipated, either. It's the best piece I'd done of Heli thus far, though. Heli is my partner's OCs, and I ship her against one of my own OCs. The thought process behind this post was of Heli being an anti-depressant or a balm against life's woes. I got the idea from pinterest!

I recently decided to try my hand at art again. I'm nowhere near as good as I used to be, but I am steadily getting better, and I'm proud of what I'm able to accomplish. Most of the time, anyway.

This is just a nameless OC. I suspect there will be more like her in the future. My posts will also probably be relatively spread out because I only tend to draw when the mood strikes me.

I need to get a new drawing tablet. Not because there's anything wrong with my Huion -- it works as well as it ever has. It's just old and outdated, and it would give me quality of life improvements to get a new one. I want to get the same one that my partner has because it looks super dope. Also, I don't want to have to worry about the pen battery anymore. It's 10 years old, yo. It's time to go.
