Journey & Remedy Headcanons

-Remedy is taller than most other EGO members... maybe like 6'1-6'2 or so. She hates the attention that it brings her, so in a bit of a weird way it is part of why she likes her job as a medic. Injured patients are more worried about other things than judging how she looks

-Journey is a bubbly and sweet person naturally, but she also does use jokes as a bit of a coping mechanism for her mental health. She is absolutely terrified of Hazard, so sometimes will joke about how she and Remedy both have evil clones with green hair (to which Rem argues that Toxin can't be her clone if they aren't the same age, don't have the same DNA, etc etc)

-Adding onto that last one, Remedy does acknowledge that she doesn't like Hazard, and whenever she has time she helps Journey redye her hair to separate herself from her clone. Because she's a nice person. It's not like she likes Journey or anything

-Journey absolutely calls her Remy when there's nobody else around. Remy pretends to hate it but really doesn't mind it. She doesn't have any nicknames for Journey though, she sees them as a bit pointless

-No mountain climbing, no hiking, and no missions until Remy makes sure that there are enough medical supplies in the event that Journey has an accident. Which is very rare, but better to be safe than sorry.

-Journey is one of the only people that Midas never argues with, because he knows he can't win. She's too kind for him to be rude to her, and (privately) is one of the few agents who never does stupid things

-She's really good at physically healing people, but Remedy is comically bad at giving advice on mental health. Almost worse than Midas actually. "Build a bridge and get over it." is her usual words of wisdom before sending the person to someone else

-Rem and 8-Ball get along really well, they're both considered the grumpy member of their squad, and get dragged along everywhere by their mutual ray of sunshine. They also both have a really odd sense of humor that nobody else gets but the other

-There are technically no pets allowed in the Agency (Meowscles doesn't count because he's half human, Kit gets a free pass for being Meows' son). But for a long while Journey had a pet rabbit that she had found injured while on a hike. Remedy didn't want to be anywhere near it ("it's unhygienic"), but she saw how much Journey cared about it and secretly kept a space for it in the back of her infirmary

Who is your favorite and least favorite skin?

Oh this is a good one. Thank you for asking!

Kit was my favorite for a really, really long time. I saw my brother playing with Meowscles one day and that's what got me into the game. I never got him but I did get Kit, and after unlocking him I don't think I used another skin for 2 months after that. Right now I would say my favorite is Point Patroller. He's not super overused and I like his outfit a lot

Least favorite is a much harder choice, I'm not entirely sure that I have one. Maybe the slurp bear from a couple years ago? I have him and don't even remember his name. But I'm not a fan of the cel-shaded bear inside of the regular style skin (I think if it had to be cel-shaded at all it should be the other way around)

I wish there was more Maya appreciation. She was more popular back in her season since she was the first fully customizable skin, but even before the superhero skins came out she was already forgotten

And (ignoring Peely) all the agents came back this season except for her. If TnTina gets a summer skin this year, she'll be the only agent to not have one

All I'm saying is justice for my girl

The hyperfixation is back in full swing... time for more headcanons :)

-8-Ball has white hair, Scratch had black hair. Sig's natural hair color is black as well, but he dyes it white to be more like his uncle

-The llama tattoo Brutus has on the back of his head came from him losing a bet several years ago. He has plenty of money to get it removed if he wanted, but doesn't see a point. In his eyes it makes him look more intimidating

-Adding on to an earlier headcanon of mine, Skye and Tina always cut their hair at the same time. Tina likes having her hair short, but if Skye ever wanted to go back to long then she would as well

-There is some sort of beef constantly going on between Midas and Tina (because their personalities are so different), but there's nobody in EGO that he actually hates. He just keeps his distance from others so that he doesn't get attached (too late. He already is)

-Catalyst sees Fade as her son/little brother figure. She was really the only person left who understood what he was going through with his rift powers, and it fell on her to teach him how to control them. While working together, he also helps to work with her on the fear of heights she gained after the Device

-Everybody is unnerved being around Hazard. She's just... not right. Everybody knows she's a clone of somebody else, and a violent one at that. It's not her fault she was created that way, but she doesn't seem eager to change either

-Toxin is definitely one of the more evil characters of this AU, but the one thing she will never do is hurt her children. She can't do anything if Chaos Agent messes with them, but if someone else does? That's her next lab experiment

-Skye was an orphan who was taken in by the Agency when she was 8. Whenever she had nightmares she would go seek out either Maya or 8-Ball and stay with them for the rest of the night. After Meowscles was born (he's only 6), she would go to him instead

-Jules' favorite color is pink, Sig's favorite color is blue, Chic's favorite color is purple (diversity win! All of them are bi)

-Marigold is just Midas from another dimension, and her version of the Yacht is still called the Marigold (self-love)

-Pretty much all of the Agency's younger gen came from some sort of bad background or childhood. However, they all eventually end up with some sort of good parental figure, and (most) get to live happily ever after <3

-Cameo and Ocean tried to host a karaoke night one time. Never again

Ill rb over here so this blog isn't dead anymore. Let's see...

-Sig and Chic are twins, Jules is their adoptive sister (aka the ALTER triplets). Sig has terrible eyesight as well as photophobia, so Chic always wears matching sunglasses to make him feel less insecure

-Ocean and Chic are gf's and they have matching shark tattoos

-Brutus could have been fully in charge of the Fortilla if he wanted (and he kind of still was), but he knew how badly Ocean wanted a chance to prove herself and stepped aside for her

-Maya had a huge crush on Midas and he never saw it. at all. Everyone in the Agency could tell except for him (It was probably a mix of him still feeling guilt abt getting Sorana killed off, and because he's also just Not Great with emotions)

-Skye and Sig are t4t besties

-Sierra HATES Midas because of what happened with Sorana (her sister). They are not allowed to be within 500 yards of each other or else shots will be fired. And honestly good for her

-Part of what makes Chaos Agent so scary is how quickly it switches personalities. It can go from kinning King George hamilton to stabbing somebody and feeling Nothing in the span of like 2 seconds. The only person that has never been in danger of this is Toxin because she was his wife before he was turned into what it is now (they are the definition of match made in hell)

-Jules leaves her hair in braids because her automatic stress response is to start pulling on her hair. It hurts, but having it in braids makes it harder to pull strands out (self-projecting who?)

-Also, her natural eye color is green like in-game. But after the golden touch is transferred over to her, they morph into the same shade that Midas' are. Even after she gets rid of it they never return to their original color

-(Excluding Fusion) Journey and Hazard are the only two Ch2S1 characters who are not completely individual people. Journey had been kidnapped by ALTER while mountain-climbing, and not knowing what to expect, took Toxin's experiments over Chaos Agent just killing her. The result ended up being an exact clone of her... except this "Journey" was basically the complete opposite of her

-After she managed to get out, this had disturbed her so much that she went to seek out EGO and join them. She had originally wanted to stay out of the war, but if she could help prevent that from happening to someone else, she was going to try. This is when she started dying her hair pink, to distance herself from that reflection

-Meowscles loves to give snuggles. He loves them so much. Snuggles are what kity lives for. Like regular cats do, he can sense when someone is upset. And if he catches it, he will drop what he's doing and go cuddle with them

-You know those dads that will do literally everything for their daughters (play princess dress up, tea party, etc)? That was 8-Ball when the Agency first took Skye in. He always pretended to be indifferent to it, but secretly it made him really happy

seeing people making things up or adding things to their canon brings me so much joy.

I'm going back to my roots and making headcanons for the early Ch2 gang:

-Even taking away his scar, Midas still has terrible eyesight. He has glasses but only wears them if his head is hurting really badly and/or is by himself. So if he's walking around the Agency and someone tries to stop him, unless it's a life-or-death situation then he will pull out the "I'm afraid I didn't see you, sorry" and skedaddle

-This also applies to Jules but to a lesser extent

-Ocean's natural hair color is brown, though it's been dyed its usual pink for years. When it gets wet though, it somehow turns purple (I borrowed this one from a post I saw a long time ago) and then back to pink when it dries. Nobody knows how it works and she will never tell

-When she first transitioned, Skye had long hair that came down past her shoulders. After an accident on her first mission when it got stuck, she cut it to the length it is now. Tina cut her hair too to help the younger girl feel better

-Cameo is Turk's daughter, and Tina is her adopted sister. Midas' nicknames for them include 'nuisance,' 'disaster twins,' and 'why did I allow myself to hire you two?'

-The order of Team GHOST's heights from tallest to shortest goes Meowscles (6'5), Brutus (6'2), Midas (6'0), Maya (5'7), Tina (5'5), Skye (5'3)

-EGO is pretty evenly split between the tired parents and disaster children. As for ALTER, Toxin is the one tired parent in an entire organization of disaster children

He's so silly

I imagine that growing up, Nolan's hero was always Jonesy. Nobody on the island really knew him until after Ch2S5-6 (after Nolan was already an adult), but the idea of who Jones as the island's hero was always somewhat there, and he wanted to be that (it also helped that he even looked like some of the man's snapshots)

Unfortunately this sense of "Oh I'm going to be just like this guy everybody loves..." kind of messed with his ego. Now in adulthood, he's definitely famous. He is a self-proclaimed mastermind after all, and the one who kept ALTER/EGO from dying out completely. So while people respect him for those things, they definitely don't respect him for the way he acts or treats others. ESPECIALLY Antonia.

The only person who really doesn't mind him is Mae because she thinks he looks funny (more seriously- she knows what it's like to really want to be like her hero (Erisa), and hopes maybe one day she can get him to chill out on his bs)

I saw a theory somewhere that Nolan and Piper from this battle pass are Jonesy's kids (the logic behind it was that Nolan looks like him- which I do see- and Piper has the same hair color- which doesn't mean anything)

I'm not going to say they're related to Jonesy (at least not directly), but I am taking the HC that they are siblings

Nolan is the older one by quite a few years (8 or 9), and is work partners with Antonia in a small spy organization made from whats still left of the ALTER vs EGO war.

Piper still lives with their parents, and is saving up for college by working at Pizza Pit. She's the one delivery driver everyone hopes they get because she (totally legally) manages to get everyone's orders delivered in record time.

When Antonia and Nolan are assigned to steal Midas' drum gun back from Kado Thorne's estate, Nolan bribes Piper into being their getaway driver. What happens after that... depends on where the lore goes 🤷‍♂️
