Second Tattoo

Second tattoo!!! Let's gooooo!!!!

It's super fresh in this picture, which is why my skin is irritated

Sorry I've been so dead; lot's of stuff going on like having to get a new phone and tablet to draw, working on graduating, getting my driver's license etc.

I'm still doing art! I have a really big project that is close to being done and I'll drop it here very soon :) hope it's interesting to y'all because I've put a lot of time and love into it.

Do expect my art to still be pretty horse focused lol. The special interest persists.

This one tattoo is in honor of my father, and I plan to get one in honor of my mother at some point as well. (He has approved the design 💪)

do you have any race headcanons for the mane six if they were human?

taking this opportunity to post some humanized AJ art..... i know most of you follow for ponies but i do enjoy drawing them as humans on occasion.

my headcanon for the actual main 6 is different, but the 6 in Cantergale are all black in some capacity. Jackie, Honey, Twilight and Dash are mixed. free will made me realize i can make them whatever the hell i want. i dont usually have specific races or ethnicities in mind when drawing them as humans, i just draw whatever features i feel fit.

First tattoo

Hey everyone, been a while since I posted on here and even more about something non-art related (kind of) some art will be coming at some point, but I've been focusing on finishing commissions first.

This is a really exciting thing for me because I just got my first tattoo and I just wanted to gush about it :3

It's a matching tattoo I've gotten with my mother and each element represents us 🌌 (this is being posted a day after it was done)

Y'all I swear I'm cooking up some new art, I'm actually working on my MLP rewrite AU and I'll probably start posting it on here but first I have to finish commissions 🫡💥

While looking through old art to post on here again, I found this piece that was a posing and composition practice I made digitally before eventually tackling the piece, the piece itself took a lot of time but the process prior to it was quite detailed as well!

I never actually finished it or added colour because I was more focused on trying to understand the anatomy and the pose of my reference image.

Project Perseverance

This is a pretty special project for me that I'm still quite proud of and I thought I'd share it here.

When I originally finished this piece I posted it on Instagram, and since I've been slowly reposting some of those things here, this one deserved to be a part of the bunch.

I call this piece Perseverance, it took 5 days to complete because I documented the entire process of it (minus the planning prior to the recordings and the hours of editing)

The piece was created using oil pastels and baby oil to blend certain layers of colours, all on 220 g/m² paper designed specifically for oil and dry pastels. I used several references, the main one being a picture of the wild horse Thor (r.i.p).

It was an art assignment, the purpose of documenting everything was to show the difference between human made art and AI generated art, showing how much effort is put into every artist's piece compared to a simple idea prompt anyone can type in under a minute. What I turned in was not only a finished art piece, but also the process from start to finish of its creation and all my years of practice and experience in art.

If I had to say anything else about it is that I definitely believe I have improved a bit on my understanding of horse anatomy in my drawings, but I'm very proud of this piece nonetheless, it was a very special experience although it wasn't always easy or nice.
