Tony breathes in brine and then exhales long and good until his lungs strain.

“It’s fine for me too,” Steve says contemplative and leaning forward, inhales next to Tony’s hair. His voice dips low and rough, a gargle of rocks, “I kinda like it when your heart does it. It’s like . . . I can taste it struggling against the back of my tongue.”

Tony exhales out for so long this time that his head goes faint.

“That’s also creepy.”

“Yeah, yeah . . . do you like it?” Steve’s teeth close around Tony’s ear, knubby sharp points so strange it tickles Tony’s spine.

“Yeah,” Tony closes his eyes, “I do.”

“Okay,” Steve says and he puts his hands around Tony’s hips and hoists him up on the bed.

Stony Loves Steve 2024

We’re back again to celebrate Steve’s birthday, July 4th, with Stony Loves Steve! This is a Steve/Tony gift exchange where participants create and receive Steve-centric fanworks.

There are plenty of wonderful creations based on Tony, and that’s awesome!. For this exchange, however, we’re choosing to focus on Steve. We hope to see more works exploring him and his side of his relationship with Tony across the Marvel multiverse, whether that relationship is slash or friendship.

Sign-ups will open on April 14th and run until April 28th. Additional scheduling info here.
