This huge thing is a traditional terracotta water jar which was used to store drinking water. Being summer season here, it's easily available at local terracotta pot stores or nursery. I got this one as a decor piece, but I think I should have bought a smaller one. But the design on top is absolutely gorgeous. When I bought this, I had planned to make it look rustic with some plaster coats and paint. But now I think I should keep it just the way it is. Today I did repotting my succulents into the tiny terracotta pots and they are looking so a-ma-zing. I mean succulents are already so beautiful, but when they are in their plastic nursery pots it doesn't looks so great. And the best part is these tiny pots cost INR 10 each😁. Spent today's afternoon repotting my succulents & cactus into terracotta pot. Also added Vermiculite to my potting mix to make it more chunky along with increasing proportion of perlite. I'm too bad at surviving succulents & cactus. Just praying these survive. Bought 3 new succulents and 3 new ceramic pots. I had this old bamboo tray, using that as my succulent tray.
