When you can’t dress up yourself, dress up you food.
Super proud of these star wars cupcakes.

Holding mimikyu before leavening MomoCon earlier this year. He held together really well (this design has been proven reasonably child proof!). For more pictures and info about how he was made, check out the Mimikyu tag.

I am among the “People Who Refused to Cosplay as Just One Thing” group, and my crossover spans mediums.
This is Captain Quartz, a Rose Quartz (Steven Universe)/Captain America (Marvel) mash up. It debuted at Momo Com 2016 as one of my earliest cosplays.
This shield is made from a pizza pan. #cosplayonabudget
And yes the wig is very hot.

Would pause with this cosplayer any day

Doesn’t matter what Universe you’re from. Rick and Morty won April Fools.

I just realized Tumblr hasn't seen finished Morty. That's a real tragedy so here he is in his joyful form.

Look at this cute little Steven clone. He was my trial run on the rotocaster. He already made it up on instagram, but I wanted to share him here too.

Its really not mine, but is it really is going to be so much fun.
If you aren’t familiar with Roto casting, it works by spinning your mold. This way you can make lightweight parts using just a quarter of the resin. Also easier on the arms. It’s faster and less error prone than 3D printing.

This year’s schedule of costumes for DragonCon.
Rory from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared is on lock for most of Saturday since I know at least one other cosplayer will be there. Every other day should be Morty. I’ll be looking for you Rick.

Here is 2016. 2017 Roy has 100% less neck choking. Personally, I’m excited about that.
There is still no telling what happens when you look away for too long though.

This is most of Morty’s insides all laded out. He needs clothes, a face (almost done), and most importantly a butt for dancing. Pressure is on!

In the name of keeping things less spammy, I’m posting most work in progress shots for new cosplay and on the ground DragonCon happenings on my instagram.
When the con is over, be on the look out for some new tutorials and tips here. (And naturally a ton of DragonCon pics)

I took a Morty break back in July to visit the very first Atlanta Cos-Losseum Con.
I didn’t join in the cosplaying this time around, but I did bring my light-saber wand. They didn’t seem to think I needed checking it no matter how deadly I told them it was. Naturally, I didn’t hurt anyone, but I did threaten that sign.

A few WIP photos for Morty’s head. Sadly, the red ball did not survive, but it served me well.
After Dragon Con I will be posting more details on Morty’s insides and some how tos.
