Walking into the bathhouse in the less busy hours today, you can see the two siblings around a Christmas tree.

Tamao is busy trying to decorate the tree to welcome the winter season, all the while Kurei is sitting atop a step ladder, undressing the tree in random patches, dropping the plastic baubles into the tray below them.

General Notes:

The siblings don't speak a lot in the present day — they seem to have had a falling out around 4 years ago. The scar over Tamao's eye was caused by Kurei at this time. (keep them together, same blog for simplicity sake)

Even though they don't talk much they do spend a lot of time together existing in the same room

Neither of the pair are willing to actively try to fix their bond, leaving their tensions to just fester

Both siblings were in the military together. Kurei stayed and Tamao left 4 years ago

Kurei dropped out of education at 16 to join with her brother 8 years ago

There is very little difference between Kurei's two forms as she's already quite an androgynous woman

When Kurei isn't in service, she tries to freeload off of Tamao at the bathhouse — Tamao doesn't allow this and makes her work reception at these times
