If you had the power to rewrite the canon events of Chicago FIre, which season would you start at? And plot event would you first change?

If you change one thing, all the events afterwards will change, hence the butterfly effect.

this is very hard i’ve been thinking about this for so long!

shay and otis would still be alive!!!

katie would still live in chicago and her and otis would still be together!

gibson would still be on truck 81 and with the butterfly effect damon wouldn’t exist. i like damon’s bond with kelly but let’s be honest his character was not necessary.

herrmann would not have done the captains exams.

there’s probably a ton more but these are just the recent things i can think of.

originally i believe it was boston, i’m pretty sure she went to multiple places which is why she kept extending her trip. other then boston i think she went to detroit and somewhere in connecticut. i could be very wrong though

If Hawkins never died, what are the chances he would have proposed to Violet? If of course nothing bad happened down the lane afterwards where they grow apart.

i can see hawkins proposing but question is would the writers realistically keep them together long enough for that to happen 🤔

I know it's common on Dick Wolf shows for actors to play different roles more than once, but what if for the first time they avoid doing that for a plot idea.

51 responds to an emergency call of a burning building. They manage to rescue everyone that was inside, but one of the victims took on more damage.

And it just so happens the unconscious victim, she looks identical to Shay 😱

Imagine Severide and the OG members of the house react to that!!

i might actually collapse if they did this! this would actually send kelly into a spiral 😭

In 6x11 when Herrmann brought his daughter to the firehouse for take your kid to work day, he said to Stella,

"She's 8! I got a few years before she comes home with a nose ring."

She turned 8 in season 4 and was said to still be 8 in season 6.

if you think too hard about the ages of any character you’ll drive yourself crazy 😭 i’ve reached a point that i know every show i watch will change characters ages for the sake of the storyline

i’m pretty sure all the officers in every shift share their offices. so all three squad lieutenants share kelly’s office, etc. it just so happens that 2nd shift is the only shift that has their personal pictures in their offices

The whole officers' quarters never made sense to me. There are 3 different shifts in the house, but ONLY 2nd shift officers' get offices. Just saying.
