staring into an empty dresser my life was folded neatly in a suitcase i watched myself from across the street a silhouette behind thin cream curtains in the hotel wet nude & bending to the blush of the night breeze on showered skins unsure of who i am & who i am longing for in my momentary windowed form a lover between low lurid breaths had told me where to step off from the sill

staring into a dim lit diner my life was poured neatly into his lowball glass more air than spirit the usual order of a blue-caught nighthawk cigarette-mouthed & black banded who left me backwashed & forgot to kill the lights before leaving his reflection clung to the glass long after like yolk like breath on a neck from someone long since stepped-off

morning!!! im charlie (any/all)! I have a tendency to write poems & a love for translation! I try to write about various topics through a nature focused Queer Comparative lens & religiously use the ampersand instead of "and"!
