- Natasha who was stripped of her childhood

- Natasha who was meant to be a weapon

- Natasha who can never have kids, but became a second mother to Clint’s children

- Natasha could calm down the Hulk, when no one else would approach him

- Natasha who monitored the Avengers headquarters while everyone was breaking down

- Natasha who broke down herself, but had to stay strong for the team

- Natasha who would jump into battle in a heartbeat, even though she already had so much red in her ledger

- Natasha who didn’t have any superpowers or armour, but was brave enough to fight any enemy

- Natasha who had no childhood, no family, and never experienced happiness

- Natasha who knew she had to be the one to die

- Natasha who had nothing to live for, but could die for the life of trillions

- Natasha who lept off the cliff after Clint

- Natasha knew Clint wouldn’t let go of her, so she had to push off herself

- Natasha made that choice

- Natasha who died a hero

- And we’re already forgetting about her.

Sam Wilson saw his best friend Riley die in front of his eyes, and couldn’t do anything to stop it.

His new best friend Steve Rogers abandoned him for a girl he knew for 2 years over 70 years ago, and wasn’t even told what he was planning. He had no control over this either.

Sam Wilson deserves better.

I’ve seen so many people talking about how Steve’s ending is ooc and didn’t do justice to Peggy and his relationship with Bucky. And yeah, I agree but nobody talks about Sam.

Sam, who has known Steve since 2014. Who decided to fight with him, not because he was his childhood friend (like Bucky did), but because it was the right thing to do. Sam who talked for like 5 minutes with Steve (half of it where the guy was kind of a jerk to him) and decided “yeah, I’m gonna help him”. Sam who directly saw Steve Rogers and not Captain America. Sam who stood by him when not a lot of people did (TWS and CW). Sam who followed him and left all the life he’d built in DC when they were looking for a guy that only tried to murder him because it was important for Steve and he wasn’t going to leave him alone. Sam who thought Steve would be back in no time. Sam who already lost a friend and felt as if he could do nothing about it.

I just realized Marvel sidelined all of their most interesting characters, then quickly shoehorned in TV shows for them so nobody would complain.

Wanda and Vision, the Power Couple™ that easily could have become the flagship of the new MCU because of how powerful they both are, were torn violently apart in Infinity War and Endgame, then their show was announced to keep them relevant while also ensuring they’ll never be able to steal the spotlight from Carol or T’Challa in the upcoming movies.

Bucky and Sam, who were both supporting characters in Steve’s story but were both incredibly unique in their own ways and deserved more than they ever got from the writers, are both now the last two of the original CA:TWS squad, with Steve now old and Natasha dead. Sam is going to be taking over as Captain America, but no new Cap movie has been announced and the show is to be titled “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” which I guess might mean Sam will keep his original name? He might not be ready to take the title, and that could be what the show is about, though I honestly doubt it’ll be handled well. And poor Bucky has been completely left behind in the narrative, the only friend he had left from his old life pre-Winter Soldier is now an old man, and he has no real ties to the world outside of Wakanda. In Infinity War he just wanted to live a simple life and not get involved in fighting anymore but without Steve around he apparently changed his mind? When will this man be allowed to rest?

And Loki was dealt the worst hand of all. Ragnorak turned his character from a complex chaotic neutral character with intense emotions and valid reasons to be furious with his adoptive family into a joke holding a petty grudge that he “gets over” after being told off and controlled by Thor just like when they were younger, and then in Infinity War they murdered him in perhaps the worst way they possibly could by letting the Mad Titan who captured him, tortured him, and sent him to Earth under the influence of the Mind Stone strangle him to death like a puppet. Marvel has always been upset that Loki was more popular and more beloved by fans than any of the heroes were and it shows. They give him an alternate timeline to run around in and tell us it’s all okay, but it really isn’t. The Loki we held out hope for to return is gone now. Alternate 2012 Loki will likely never be the same, and while in some ways that’s a very good thing, in other ways it’s really damn disappointing.

These shows were to shut us up from asking about characters Kevin Feige actually doesn’t really care about, and tbh I’m kinda pissed about that. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait for these shows, but I am pissed that these characters won’t be getting the solo movies they deserve.
