A small comic about Palestine I created to appeal to more passive family and friends
Anyways if you have the money I urge you to donate to Ibraheem Hadi, a Palestinian who contacted me and whom I promised to highlight in relation to this comic:
Otherwise there is always a need for eSims to keep Gazans connected

this is a very good critique of the idea that palestinian liberation is at odds with american civil liberties, and why kamala's doubling down on this at her rally in michigan was so harmful. every time i post about american electoral politics and palestine (since last october) i have received "so you want trump to win?" as a response, even though i never mention trump, and even in posts where i actively talk about wanting kamala to win.
why is this the case? who is implying that pro-palestine supporters are the same as trump supporters? it's not pro-palestine supporters, it's the democratic party itself that has disparaged pro-palestine supporters as anti-semites, as terrorists, as the kkk, as extremists, as anything except what they represent: people from their own base (or people who are anti-fascist, anti-white supremacy, anti-imperialist and certainly not republicans) who want their government to stop breaking international law and conducting a genocide.
they know these protestors don't want trump to win, they know they have a legitimate grievance, and they know they are legally and morally correct. unlike the iraq war, where the US had a real material interest despite public outcry, this war israel is dragging them into is only a war of political interest. materially, the US (and particularly the democratic party) stand to lose a lot and gain nothing as israel continues to escalate into a regional war, while both israel and trump stand to win.
the reality is: the protestors are correct, and kamala is wrong. stopping a genocide does not come at the cost of american civil liberties, and US liberals who are anti-genocide should refuse this divisive rhetoric and unite behind the pro-palestine contingent, who represent the majority opinion of a weapons embargo on israel. im sure many of you believe kamala can't achieve that—but she can at least begin to stop demonizing and alienating pro-palestine, anti-genocide supporters in her own base.

Falin's resurrection just stuck with me, it was such an impactful scene in the story, I just had to draw my version of it. I hope you like it!
