Sorry for this blog to be such a messy AU with like, zero story lines up. But in my defense I was just having fun and doing random stuff. I don’t even know anymore… I really need to balance things.

Red Onyx’s Dark Secret

Idk if you expected this, but I’m just gonna drop some bomb lore.

So, remember this creepy ahh diva?

Crappy, planned to redraw her again and redesign her, anywaysss (why tf is she transparent)

So, Red Onyx is clearly an enemy in RWM.

As stated in Red Zircon’s official character bio.

She’s a very odd and very cultish.

I’ve posted her before so you may remember that she’s like a cult leader, for the Sun Goddess.

Her secret is that she’s not actually a gem. Shocker right?

Apparently she’s an entity created from the Sun Goddess years ago and then took the form of an Onyx to blend in. She brainwashed the other Onyxes, and created a church, became a priestess and tricked Red Diamond into thinking she’s good.

Red Zircon accidentally stumbled upon this Onyx and saw her shapeshift into a large black terrifying monster with red glowing eyes, eating the shards of shattered gems.

She’s inspired by Momo, The evil aunts from Kubo and the two strings and Daniel from Camp Camp a little.

I remember searching Red Zircon’s up and one of the things that gem represents is passion, protection and strength, I think.

And hence, Red Zircon’s Overprotective and honestly pretty strong! Very passionate too.

Fun facts about my AU:

Crimson Zircon, unlike the other Zircons that are lawyers, she’s an undercover violent criminal that disguises herself as a prosecutor. She and Red Pearl, also Yellow Zircon team up to get rid of their enemies. (Red Zircon, Blue Zircon, Steven etc.).

Pink Zircon and a White Zircon does exist but they’re just Homeworld background characters… ✨

The plot of Steven Universe: Red World Marstrolia is not something Steven should fix, it’s something the Diamonds need to fix.

Red Pearl is a Yandere for Red Diamond, basically a worse version of regular Pearl.

Barites are used as cameras.

Yellow Zircon is a narcissist, Crimson Zircon is a sadist.

Red Zircon is a Dunkin’ Donut girl (totally canon /j)

Verbal abuse is common in Marstrolia sadly.

Unlike Homeworld gems, some gems in Marstrolia are new. (As in like, rare gems.)

Red Agate is deeply afraid of explosions. (Foreshadowing)

Red Agate has a PTSD from the wars she’s been in.

Peachy Zoisite is very insensitive and cruel-hearted, she tried to throw lava at Steven once.

I have specific locations for Marstrolia I’d like to share.

Red Onyx has a dark secret.

Yes, the fighting season is over for the main SU cast but like, I like action, and also this is the last fun adventure for them. Like the video games where it’s just a little path for a little more lore. Youfeelmee? 😭

Blue Zircon and Red Zircon will practice fighting in combat for funsies (at first).

At least Steven Universe is making a comeback. I think others aswell but idk.

I never got to see it in person, but the closing of the old CN studios building really saddens me. I just hope that despite all this, Cartoon Network can endure the wacky corporate politics of Warner Bros Discovery, and continue to provide fun and creative animated shows for the foreseeable future.

I have to say, Red Diamond is probably one of the most messed up OCs I’ve ever created.

Like, she experienced so much.

She got thrown out by the other diamonds just by having arrogance. Suffered loneliness. Created a whole planet just by her anger and pain she endured.

Her Pearl has always been there for her but she thinks her Pearl is not that useful. She verbally abuses her.

She’s Bi-Polar, and also has a few other issues with her state of mind.

Red Diamond felt utterly betrayed when Pink Diamond was a thing, and when the other diamonds didn’t bring Red back after the whole Pink Diamond fiasco.

Nothing is ever enough in Red Diamond’s eyes, her own mentality craves approval and power. Slowly driving herself insane. Faking her own emotions…

Losing grip of her compassion. And slowly embracing that toxic burn in her gem…

Her empire is never good enough for her. Never enough.

Dayum, babygirl you need therapy.

“Pearl! Where is that Diamond Line?!?”

“My Diamond, it’s not possible to find the Diamond Lines from Homeworld. Our warp pads won’t be able to—“

Red Diamond is finding Homeworld Diamond lines to turn it into Marstrolia Diamond lines.

She wants to prove so badly that she’s the better Diamond. ♦️

Whenever Violet Zircon becomes a thing, Red Zircon dances Hispanic and Blue Zircon does tap dancing.

Yellow Zircon and Crimson Zircon would do the waltz I guess. They don’t ever fuse with each other though.
