Inspired by the moments where you overcome self doubt, ATO is about having fun and loving yourself. This song inspired me to catch up with some friends and also discuss these topics. A lot of friends who listened to it early told me it gave them an Eminem vibe which was a cool surprise. Huge thank you to my brother @apollodrip who produced, mixed and mastered this track. We’ve been grinding to get to this point and we are just getting started. Also, thank you @made.pablo, @danielfreshbot and my sister @_zevanna for assisting with the visuals. Well, I was going to post this "excited" to share that there was a documentary in the works on Mac Miller's life but I just looked it up and the "would be" director was recently told that the idea must be put on hold. It sounds like some people/fans were thinking that maybe this director was trying to exploit the project to his benefit. I don't know. Anyways, I can't believe it's been 8 months since I created my first song. I was in Mexico visiting family and was laying down when I found out that Mac had just died. I know we all get attached to artists, their lives and music but I hadn't realized how much of a fan I was until I looked at how sad I was. Right then and there my mood took over and I knew I wanted to make a tribute song. I started writing a couple verses over one of Mac's songs and then I asked my friend to throw together a beat so we could put it together. I came back home a couple days later and within 2 weeks I had my first little project out. It's nothing crazy but to me, this #song is about inspiration. Because that is what MacMiller is.
