I've been pondering this myself..we know oliver struggles with boundaries. At first I thought 'well, maybe he has a hard time respecting people's spaces' but then in the route he asks gingi if he can touch their face and later on the usage of the filmed footage

So, does he have trouble setting boundaries himself?

It's more a genuine lack of awareness of where other people would normally set their boundaries. He's very open-minded, confident, forward, physically affectionate, which causes him to kinda forget others are the same and somewhat creep them out on occasion. He's aware of it and is trying to work on it, but it's tough for him to get into other people's headspaces.

It doesn't just apply to personal boundaries. He'll read up about poisons on wikipedia all night and then talk about them with anyone who'll listen and forget that a funny guy talking endlessly about easy to find/lethal poisons *might* be a red flag for people, even if he doesn't intend it to be, because it genuinely doesn't register to him what other people would assume.
